I was the subject of a possible scam when trying to install a copy of Office bought from AMAZON, the attempt at installing failed with an error notice with a phone no to ring, I rang the number and was told that my computer had Trojans in it and to remove them would cost $399. I then shut down all communication and rang Microsoft who installed the programme. The communicants insisted that I do not speak to Microsoft.

Hubby started setting up having entered the address then “pressing enter” to be told the code was unsuccessful. Need to call , called to be told needed new antivirus. Alarm bells.
DONOT press enter after typing into search engine drop down and select carefully the site required.
Hubby was redirected at pressing enter from a / to a .
Product should be the great windows package we all know once in use
Feb update
Package now corrupt with Microsoft 365 telling me subscription needs renewal
Appears to be a common problem with no easy solution!
Wasted money I’m losing out on job applications!

Strange customer service call.

Could not install. Rang helpline and Microsoft were keen to sell me security protection for my MacBook 2012, in order to complete the installation of Office 2021.........?
I wasn't so sure and so chose to return to the product to Amazon as I have been told by Microsoft that the product is incompatible with my machine. I'm not prepared to purchase "security software" from Microsoft, when so far I've not needed any for my machine...strange.
Previous customer review was not available when I made my purchase, so interesting to hear previous customer was also not able to install product.

I needed Microsoft Office Home (not 365) on my laptop and found this was definitely the cheapest I could find for a one time purchase package. The product key arrived within 2 days of ordering via Royal Mail, there was an option to download your product key earlier if desired. The company sent installation instructions via Amazon, which were very useful as the ones supplied in the Product Key package wouldn't have worked for me without the first steps given by the company email. Also I was told that as part of a Microsoft promotion I would get a Microsoft Professional 2021 upgrade free of charge instead of the expected Microsoft Office home. Absolutely Wonderful!!!!!!
I had a slight problem with the download of the software but this was due to using Microsoft Edge as my browser. There was no problem when I used Google Chrome.
Everything is working well and I am a very happy bunny, having got a fully functional Microsoft Office Professional for only £62.

I am HUGELY disappointed with this process and with lack of technical support to date. Purchased item. Amazon delivered the box with software key. Followed instructions. Entered key. Received screen message that key had been redeemed successfully but that download could not proceed due to missing system component. Very surprised as using brand new 24 inch iMac running Monterey 12.3.1 Messaged support and was promised a phone call from a technician within 30 minutes. Now it is 24 hours later and still no phone call. This is no way to support customers.

In future I shall only buy Microsoft products from the Microsoft Store. I only tried to intall this product 4 days ago. I got any error message with a U.K. phone number, it was a scammer who tried to sell me anti virus software.
Since then the product will not activate. I have spoken to three Microsoft on line support agents for over 5 hours now and the issue has not been resolved. Beware of this product bought from this retailer

The instructions are not as mentioned, I followed them and I’m very IT literate but the code that came with it did not work. It was a nightmare to install and had to end up using the support and that helped but not what I expected at all

Purchased for home use only and was given a FREE upgrade to Professional plus!! I downloaded the key in case there were any delivery problems but it arrived as i was completing the installation the day after purchase. Instructions were precise and easy to follow. I now have the the complete range of Office on my desktop. Absolutely delighted!

I didn't get supplied with home and student

Without asking me I was offered a free upgrade to Office Professional Plus. I requested to be supplied with Home and Student as ordered and was told it would be supplied but received Professional Plus. This is way over my needs and most of it will never be used. I have not loaded it in case the correct Home and Student arrived so I could return the wrong item unopened but no sign of a second package arriving. I cannot be bothered with returning for a refund in case that also fails to materialise. Therefore I cannot comment on Home and Student and give 2 stars on QofS
