I bought it 3 months ago and the falling protection did not work as expected. And the case became yellow as well. It is usually a good brand but I think that I did not have luck this time.

Doesn’t live up to expectations…

I’ve had two of these cases now and they’ve both broken exactly the same way - I assumed the first one was an exception, but apparently not…
I had both for well under a year, and initially I was happy with the level of protection provided. However, the rubberised edging turned yellow very quickly - not ideal, but I can live with it. But then the rubberised edging started bowing and peeling away from the plastic back. It’s worked it’s way off the phone case down both sides, and has now peeled off around the bottom corner too. The phone isn’t safe in the case any more and it looks terrible.
I paid more for an Otterbox case because I thought they were a premium brand offering a more quality product, but I’ve been sadly disappointed.
Amazon have kindly replaced the case for me, so I’m onto my third one now, but safe to say, I won’t be buying one of these again.

One major flaw - it hurts your ear

The Ottorbox Sleek Case for iphone 12/12 pro is as rugged as all of the Ottorbox cases. Great material. Absolutely perfect fit. Easy to get on and off. Super edge and corner protection. There is however one major flaw and that is it will hurt your ear on long phone calls. For some reason Ottorbox have notched the edge profile at the top to match the screen notch (I don't think it can be for a functional reason, because it is well clear of the sensors anyway). It just about reveals the tiny iPhone 12 bezel. They did this with a chamfer which looks well, but because of the profile it is notched into (a chamfer coming the other direction) it creates a sharp edge right at the ear piece. There is also a sharp ridge (only at the top) on the outside chamfer. It looks like a mould insert out of position a little. It's not even really visible to the naked eye, but you can feel it with your finger and after an hour with it to you ear you know all about it. It's a pity because it ruins an otherwise decent case.

Normally never had any issue with Otterbox cases. This one however, is simply very poor quality. It’s gone from a clean clear ‘colour’ to a very yellow colour in less than a year. Also the edges of the case are not raised up above the screen, what this means is... if your phone falls face down; the first thing that hits the ground is phones screen, not the protective case. Thankfully a screen protector from another company absorbed most of the damage when this happened to mine.
Overall, not worth the money. Buy cheaper and you’ll have the same thing from one of the many Chinese factories that copy/produce alternative- though equally poor products. Or spend more and get a bulkier yet more protective case.

Extremely unimpressed with this case. This case is clearly fake and does not offer the true protection that the world famous otter box brand is known for.

At first I was skeptical with the price having found one a few quid cheaper than majority of others available.

When the product arrived it was in a plastic sleeve, not in a typical otter box box that you would receive from a genuine otter box phone case as I’ve had several before and know this.

To make matters worse and confirm all doubt I have dropped my phone a couple of times now, nothing crazy just a bump or two here and there and it has offered no protection at all to my phone. In the space of 1 month I’ve gone through 3 tempered glass screen protector’s and even 2 for the cameras on the back.

This product sucks, I am certain that it’s a cheap tacky fake from china and it will not protect your phone at all so stay well away from this seller!

Hopefully Amazon will catch on soon and have them removed.

Instantly liked this on arrival. Put straight on iPhone 7, a bit looser fit than I had expected. Otter usually nail breakingly tight. But doesn’t fall off. Like the feel, nice and grippy with good chunky side buttons, buttons better than phone itself in my option. Can find them more easily by feel.

Can still slide into back pocket easily due to plastic back. Plastic back is a cool feature lets you see apple logo but downside I have already put a 2” deep scratch into the plastic back in the first 10 min of use.

So if your precious about your phone case looking perfect, this is not for you. If you want otter durability, functionality and a nice look and feel. Go for it!

Okay, but shame about the colour

As the title of the review suggests, the case is okay, functional and what I would expect from Otterbox.
My only gripe would be the colour, which doesn't match with the colour of the red iphone SE for which it was purchased, despite being described in the listing as "power red".
It is more orange than red, and significantly different from the colour of the phone I had hoped it would enhance. The clear back to the case only serves to highlight this difference.
I opted to keep the case regardless as it was good value and functional, but I would have liked it a lot more had the shade of red matched the model of the phone it was supposed to be for.

Otterbox prodicts are generally very good, this is no exception. Protection is much less than a proper otterbox protection case, but this is much less invasive and keeps the size of the device sleek. Nice splash of colour to keep my phone unique to the rest of the office company phones. See-through rear case, keeps that famous fruit in sight. Slightly raised edge from the coloured band to the front does protect the screen from scratches if placed face down on a flat surface. It is millimetres, but that is enough for the desk/office environment. Worth every penny

Ever since I’ve owned iPhones, I’ve owned Otterbox’s. I work in an environment where my expensive phone is susceptible to damage and I’ve not broken one yet!

This particular model is a good fit and not at all boxy. It has a raised rim which gives some protection to the screen, but otherwise it only really protects the casing of the phone. If it could be improved upon at all, it would be the inclusion of a screen protector. I know Otterbox offer other models with this, I’ve owned them previously, these though are quite bulky in comparison. This model sits nicely in my trouser pocket. It also feels better to hold in the hand than the phone without a case.

It is pricey compared to other options but I believe in the saying’you get what you pay for.’ Based on that I will continue to buy them.

Arrived quickly with Amazon Prime, and was well packed but not ridiculously so.

The case itself is made of quite rigid plastic, it fits the phone very snuggly and you won’t want to take it out all that often. I have dropped it and it survived with no damage.

One thing of note is that dust etc gets in and you can see it on the phone through the clear reverse, bit annoying but I guess dust gets everywhere.

Looks good on the phone and the blue matches the blue iPhone , the shade being similar.
