The product was new and well packed. Rode worked straight out of the box. I would advise everyone to download software from the Rode website and then connect each device one by one to the computer using the attached cable USB-C-USB-A. Why? I did so and immediately new update popped out and I downloaded it. This is why is important to connect each device separately because each one requires its own update.
The software also gives us a lot of information about battery status and more. I did not do play with it setting in there. All I did was charging them.
I will write how I use it and how it works.

They are very light, but when you teach dance online and wear a t-shirt, it might be not so comfortable.
I bought a long time ago cheap lavelier mic Audio-Technica. I didn't expect it will do the job very well.

My wife uses a laptop and it was always a problem for students on the other side of the globe to hear her when she was a bit away from the computer. With Rode Wireless Go II one doesn't need any more special cables to connect to the computer. The attached USB-C-USB-A cable is enough. Rode will be immediately recognized and ready to rock'n'roll. We use Cisco Webex Meeting Live and it works amazingly well. In the Webex, you choose in setting the mic to "Wireless Go 2" and Voila!
( I would like to add here that the Rode receiver connected via USB will be always self-charging ).
Now her students in the studio hear everything super good regardless of distance from the computer. There is no need to buy external speakers for the laptop in the studio as we initially thought to do. Thanks to Rode.
Also, I thought to buy an older version because it was cheaper and I thought having 2 mics is unnecessary. I'm glad that I paid 100 euros more and bought a new model. First, no need for more cables to use with pc for live stream, and secondary we had already a case that one mic run out of battery during the lesson. What you do then? Grab fully charged another mic, turn it on and continue. Simple like that.

In the end, I want to add that I was afraid to connect and charge directly to electrical contact. I couldn't find any answer on this subject, so I took a plug from my iPhone and tried. It worked and nothing blew up.
I have not tried outside yet.

I hope it helps you to decide on the purchase.

PROS: You can automatically Backup all audio recordings (this personally is my favourite new feature on the GO ii vs GO i very handy). Perfect for YouTubers, amateurs & professionals alike. Excellent audio quality (the best I've ever heard from a wireless mic), fast pairing, great range connectivity when talking close to or far from the reciever, nice battery life I get ~6.5-7.5 hours. Audio settings are highly adjustable especially when using the rode app. The GO ii is light weight, easy to conceal, and works perfectly solo and with my non-rode lav mic. Comes with detailed instructions and is overall simple to use.

CONS: The price (very expensive). At this price they should have provided more cords because if you want to film/record audio/use the mic with a phone, GoPro or computer extra TRRS, USB C or lighting adapter cords are needed to use the GO ii. Case is too small and won't fit all the items included (will only hold the 2 transmitters & the receiver).

Overall, I would highly recommend the Rode Wireless GO ii to others! 👍

Waited for 10 days to receive the product. But after unboxing, there were dents and scratches on the products. Quite surely it has been used before. Irresponsible. Strange. Unexpected for such an expensive product.

Didn't test the sound recording. Returned it.

On top of the amazing features, portability and quality of the first model, Rode have added onboard recording and the latest firmware update allows recording when not connected to the receiver. This means you can go out with just the 2 mic/transmitters and they will record onto their internal memory for later retrieval on the new Rode Central App. They can either record for 7 hours at broadcast quality or 46 hours normal quality.
And of course, the biggest advantage is there are now two transmitters so recording interviews is now possible.

Comprehensive good quality radio mics

For the price these are excellent and very well thought out. A lot of features and very handy option to control parameters by Mac /PC or phone when on the road. The 7 hour 'broadcast quality recording within each transmitter is very handy and a good back up in case of signal drop out, ditto the safe level back up recording.
Updating software was very easy and fast. They do indeed have good range as described. The noise levels are very acceptable when properly set up with the camera.

My only criticism is there is no 'handbook' to download print and take away, which is a real mistake. There are lots of online videos of how to use, but as control of the units is via multiple presses of few buttons, remembering what to do is somewhat haphazard if you only use them once in a while. The 'get you started sheet' which accompanies them on delivery is very basic and gives no clues to what they can do other than fitting to camera/pc etc.
All that said they are easy to use and have good sound quality. I have tested using other external mics plugged into the transmitters and they handle them well.
All round excellent, well thought out kit for the price.

First Rode product to let me down. The transmitters keep unpairing and are completely unreliable in the field.

The units look good and come with a handy little case which is a nice touch. Got them working okay at home and things looked promising. The first few sound tests were good. Range is okay if the unit has line of sight, otherwise not amazing but they come with onboard recording as a backup with is great.

Problem starts when you switch off and try to turn back on, then one or other unpairs with the receiver. It took an age to find information about how to correct this? Like come on Rode? Anyway, the fix is manageable at home, but outside on a shoot, in full sun light etc is next to impossible.

Accompanying software Rode Central, isn't bad but it would nice if one could download all tracks together, not a biggie but just a minor issue.

Ultimately, if you pay €250 for a product from a company with Rode's reputation you expect reliability to be rock solid and in that regard the product fails. Couldn't recommend at all, avoid.

Purchased these after we used ride wireless go, & found that we needed two external microphones.

Simple to install. Take out of box, charge, plug in receiver, & turn on microphones & they just work. Perfect for merging two sound channels into single stream.

Quality of sound is amazing in comparison to internal / built in microphones on cameras. Provides professional quality sound over built in microphones.

Now have perfect sound quality for church mass live streaming.

Cannot recommend highly enough.

Only one down side which is instructions on how to mute / unmute microphones could be much clearer. Ended up having to Google it.

I've now used this kit at four weddings and I have to say it's superb! Audio is good and clear. It really is excellent value for money too. It's a bonus too that the transmitters record the audio as backup. Furthest away I've had the receiver is about 75m and the audio was great. Would highly recommend!

The sound quality is just awesome as rode always do in his products. The Design is impressive and cool and also the size is good. The internal recording is one of the best feature in the transmitter and secondary it's performance which is unbelievable but one disappointments is that the price is too high. K bought this in 30000 but I don't think this is the good price segment.
