attenzione, recensioni positive "pagate"

La qualità della videocamera è piuttosto scadente. Le immagini dei video sono davvero scarse (paragonabili a quelle di un cellulare di 15 anni fa) e la stabilizzazione pressoché inesistente.
Le foto vengono scattate in 4:3 e non c'è verso di impostarle su 16:9.
Comodo il pulsante remoto per avviare i video o scattare foto quando non si ha rapido accesso alla videocamera.
Assieme alla macchina arrivano numerosi accessori per il fissaggio, alcuni dei quali però non sono perfettamente compatibili tra di loro (gli snodi tipo Gropro, per capirci).
Il supporto nero (quello non impermeabile) tiene la camera per miracolo e c'è il serio rischio di perderla alla prima buca. Indispensabile usare le fascette a velcro incluse nella confezione, che però poi coprono una parte dello schermo e/o i pulsanti di accensione e scatto.

Certo il prezzo è ridicolo e quindi va anche bene così, ed è anche per quello che ho dato 2 stelle anziché 1. L'importante però è saperlo che la qualità dei video è così scadente. Quello che trovo grave infatti è che nella confezione si trovi un biglietto che invita a lasciare una recensione positiva in cambio di un regalo, il che spiega perché tutte le recensioni siano così positive. Penso che Amazon dovrebbe vigilare di più su queste "furbate" e punirle, perché rischiano di danneggiare la fiducia dei clienti e il buon funzionamento del sistema delle recensioni.

I borrowed a name-brand action camera, from a friend, and really liked it - except for the price if I wanted one for myself. I wanted my own one, to use on bike rides. Firstly, for some interesting perspective videos and - secondly - in case (when) I encounter an bad driver so I have what they did recorded just in case... I looked at a few on here, and there was quite a choice of cameras around the £45-40 mark. This one was attractive, as it comes with pretty much all the accessories you could need and it was on a promotion at the time making it less than £40 - great value. It arrived in a well-designed box, rather than just a brown box, with the camera loaded into the waterproof case and all the accessories in a separate box - including a spare battery. You can remove it from the waterproof case easily, which you will need to do if you want to also record sound as the mic is off when sealed in this case. As you'll see from my pictures, I have it mounted to my front handlebars. The attachments - to the handlebar, holder to case housing - are fully-adjustable and screw in tightly so the unit doesn't move unless you want it to. Build quality is very good - light, but solid. Operating the camera is nice and simple, and can be done using the buttons or with the included remote - and the Android / iOS app, also pictured. Video is great quality, as you would expect at 4K resolution, but you can adjust both video and picture quality to your choice. Thankfully, I've not had any run-ins on the road yet, but just having it there is reassuring. This is a great value-for-money choice and I would recommend it to anyone. I’ve now added an example video, to show the picture quality. I edited the sound out as my bike has a really annoying squeak at the moment, and it sounds horrible!

So after using the camera twice, the batteries (tested both) last no longer than 15 minutes of 4k recording. Was pleased initially as the recording quality was great for the price but now just disappointed as i have to take time out of my day to wait for Hermes to pick up the item for a refund!!

***also found a little leaflet basically trying to buy a good review from me in exchange for a "free gift", can Amazon look into this behaviour as its manipulating the market reviews clearly ***

Really happy with this camera it comes with two batteries and a waterproof case , I have the go pro camera and I needed another for the rear of my bike so I’ve gone for this one which has turned out to be on par if not better the picture quality is as good and I find the lead edge easier to use and at the fraction of the price of a go pro it’s a winning choice it’s can take a 64gb Sd card so that’s plenty of room any question just ask I’ve really gone through this camera and I can’t see why you wouldn’t buy one

Would love to be able to review this item but I can't as I lost it first time out!

Having wanted one for a long time I was delighted to finally get one when I used an Amazon gift voucher that I got for Christmas. The item looked good, came with a range of accessories (unfortunately not with the micro SD card that was required but easily purchased locally) and charged and powered up OK. Took it to my local park armed with a selfie stick to take some low level images of birds on the lake but alas hadn't secured it to the selfie stick properly and within seconds of starting to record it fell off and into the fast flowing stream leading to the lake. Even in it's waterproof housing it sank out of sight and seems to have been lost to the current forever, so somewhere out there is a camera with a lengthy underwater video of it's adventure and some random photos of my dog!

So - would have loved to give a glowing review of the impressive capabilities of the camera but gutted that I didn't have it long enough to do so. Hopefully one day I will be lucky enough to get another one - or somebody will be kind enough to gift me a replacement and I can give a more detailed review. For now however all I can say is that it looked and felt OK, the screen worked OK and the image on screen appeared sharp and detailed. It came with a decent range of bits but they are now, unused in a box under my desk!

As my first action camera at this price, actually I didn’t expect too much but the camera is surprisingly good. Well packed in the box and shipped in its waterproof case, so you don’t have to put it up by yourself. It also comes with a whole set of additional accessories. There is even a extra battery provided, so you can always have a spare to exchange. I could say it’s definitely a great alternative choice of GoPro—cheap, lightweight, functional, easy to set it up and use. Once I have the chance to use it taking some decent photos, I’ll be happy to upload the images in the future!

I thought this would be an upgrade to my six year old Vivitar camera, but the quality is substantially worse and it is riddled with software bugs. Focus is very soft; I cannot read license plates ahead of me yet the Vivitar can. Colours are washed out, contrast is non-existent or blown out depending on the situation and the 4K30 setting is extremely jittery, almost like it's running at a substantially lower framerate than what is advertised. Sometimes, when trying to record, the camera will write the file in such a way that colour information is either lost (rendering the image in black and white) or the separate RGB channels will be floating seemingly at random around the frame.

Buy a brand name camera like Vivitar or GoPro and not this generic.

First up, this offers excellent value for money. The video it produces is very crisp and clear. Motion blur is minimal, which is excellent for a budget range action camera. Packed full of lots of options and settings to edit to your heart's content.

Don't buy as an action. It can't do it. The reviews on here and the YouTube reviews I watched are all full of crap. 1. It's never going to be stable enough. 2. Pretty sure that isn't 4k. 3. Exposure constantly changing even if the light doesn't.

The software interface to the phone is really good.

I'm stuck with this camera and I honestly can't find a suitable use. It probably takes a good picture if the camera doesn't move or the subject doesn't move.

I just needed a cam for my bike and this works perfect. Took it on a night mission and held its own very well and i even forgot to turn EIS on and the vid still came out ok at 4k30fps. I couldn't decide what camera to get as there were so many. Decided to get a cheap one then get a better one later on. I was so surprised by the quality of video im wondering if i will need the more expensive one for what i want. Great little Camera!!!!!
