I'll be brief because ive wasted enough time on these cans as it is. Look elsewhere, I simply am so fed up of turtle beach having a corner hold on the market, its preposterous. the build feels nice and they sit on your ears comfortably, and that's about it. I tried to update the firmware so I could use the full promised features ie. Configuring the headphones as was marketed, but tried as I did, 5 different devices including a pc, 2 macs, an ipad and my phone it just would show or recognise the device but my headset showing up as connected to Bluetooth on those devices when a cable wasn't required. Not only was the Bluetooth sound beyond horribly unacceptable, but the fact that I can take an item out of its box and start using it is beyond me.

The sound quality was only passable at best aswell, and for £130 i asked for an immediate refund without question.

All companies on this line: Make Things Work Out Of The Box! No one has bloody time to sit there update and trouble shoot everything all the time in fact least of the time.

I am still yet to find a pair of headphones better than my old and battered XO One headset!

Much like it’s predecessor (based on certain reviews), 700 Gen 2 randomly cuts out and has to go through repairing of the connection. There is also continuous glitching in the audio stream. Not a smooth audio experience at all and I would thoroughly advise that quality assurance is more thorough before releasing future versions. A waste of good money and on to the next. Sounds quality is good not that it matters in the context of cut outs. On to the next with that awful feeling of having been duped!

Won't charge or turn on.

Working for about a minute then won't charge or turn on. Reading online this seems to be a big issue. I have ordered a replacement but I'm expecting the same issue.

The replacement pair arrived and the exact same thing happened. Have returned for a refund.

First amazon messed up my pre-order, supposed to be delivered the day after released, on the day this changed to 12 October - 14 November & Currently unavailable. Thought I'd saved myself by managing to grab a spot on the Turtle Beach main site - Wish I hadn't of bothered. Arrived faulty. Re-sync every 2 minutes, iffy connection to the Hub app, crackly sound, mic drops, then a very high pitch 5 second noise and complete cut off. Solid red LED and the 'Hard Reset' information said to hold Pair & Bluetooth for 20 seconds, tried several times, held for a whole minute, nothing. Had to run down a 20 - hour battery in order to turn off, recharge and turn back on. Unfortunately, this didn't even solve the issues experienced.

So disappointed with this turtle beach. Never had a problem with any other headset my whole life. Decided to cross over to wireless, download the app... everything sounded great.

The app works when it wants to. Doesn't really change much for you when you do get on. None of the extra settings made any change to the sound quality of this headset.

Very quickly I noticed the headset would turn its self of, when loading into parties, the headset wouldn't connect so you could hear your friends.
Yet they could hear you, you could hear the game just no voice. (All muted settings checked and double checked)

You would have to play about with the volume button hoping and preying it would connect. Managed to connect a few times but this didn't last long and never worked again.

Certainly won't buy wireless again from turtle beach but I will head back to wired or either head over to astro as recommended by others.

While this is undoubtedly one of the best gaming headsets I've used it's to be avoided at all costs because they die within weeks.

I had one die after after a single day and the replacement died in just over two months.

I've always gone with Turtle Beach for headsets. Generally they lead the field but they appear to have overstretched themselves with this one. While they made a very comfortable headset with great sound and features, there's something unstable that causes them to just die.

I'm going to try the 600 in the hope that the older model is more stable.

Waste of money- Lasted 2 weeks before known issues started

Stealth 700 Gen 2 = Terrible.

Mine lasted 2 weeks before they went wrong. I tried everything on the Turtle beach website to get them working again but no joy. The headphones would cut out completely mid game or make fellow gamers voices sound computerised.

Very disappointed considering these are supposed to be Turtle beaches best headset. Save your money and go with the 600's as they suffer with far less issues then the 700's.

Bought as a gift but broke within 6 months messaged customer services but no satisfactory outcome because warranty is for 3 months. These Stealth 700 wireless headphones were not cheap but would not buy another set one disappointed Grandson!

Be careful here.....I purchased these in March, am trying to return as they’re faulty. I paid £13.70 to return them to the return labels provided (not UK), to get them back saying the address does not exist. Amazon have been diabolical - my advice would be do not buy them.

Would only switch on when connected to the charging cable, as soon as I disconnect the charging cable with not turn on, defeats the object of a wireless headset??? Many online reviews state that you have to do a boot up then do a firm update 80 what you want to do with £130 headset, out of the box, sent it back to Amazon for a full refund and then to find out they were selling it as new for 55 pounds, not happ,????
