Every so often you buy something that surprises you and exceeds your expectations, and for me this is one of those products. I bought it to sweep dog hairs off a wooden floor and it does that without any real effort. I like the way that the pan can be left free standing so that rubbish can be swept straight into it, but the real piece of genius is the comb on the lip of the pan which cleans accumulated dog hairs from the brush with very little effort. The brush is very lightweight, but well made, so requires no real effort to use, and in the grey and orange it looks ok if left out. After 4 weeks of constant use I am still very pleased with this purchase.

It's a good size and the brush is good quality however;
1- The pan distorts when you lean on it so it isn't flush with the floor - true, but the answer is don't lean on it, just hold lightly in place.
2. Large difficult to remove label on the pan - true and this is annoying, manufacturer - please stop using these labels. However to remove this and other labels - soak and scrub to remove paper, then use "Sticky Stuff Remover" from De-Solv-It to get the glue off.

Time will tell how robust this device is but the metal handles seem ok. It is was easy to assemble - well, how difficult can it be to use a dustpan & brush, even with a long handle? I take the point made by other reviewers about not bending the base of the dustpan. I will be using mine for the kitchen - concrete tiles - and the dining area wood floor. Clearly somebody at the manufacturer has been reading the reviews - mine came without the sticky label so many people complained about. Full marks!

Quite sturdy and certainly very long, but really not the best for sweeping up. The long poles make it awkward to use (I really wouldn't order this of you have any weakness in your arms or back!). Plus the slighest downward pressure on the dustpan part causes it to bend off the floor, causing any sweepings to zoom under the pan. Very annoying!!!

I had a super cheap tall dustpan and brush, the ones you get from b&m or something and they were a bit rubbish. My pet peeve was trying to brush stuff into the pan and it going under the pan so you end up chasing the dust round and it takes ages and used to really annoy me. So I set out to find one that had a better seal on it to ensure the dust went into the pan properly, first try.

This doesn't. It was going under the same as my cheap one. It also was very annoying to use, it clicks down but then every time I used it the clip holding the long pan handle in place would click out and then it wouldn't stand on its own and would fall over. It is also quite clunky compared to the old one I had. All in all worse than what I was using. I eventually found an Oxo good grips one that I can recommend. No more chasing the dust round lol

Used this brush 2 times and bristles started coming out and getting deformed. I contacted the seller after amazon advised me to who was very uninterested in helping and one of the worst customer service focused seller ever. I asked for refund and even offered to return item after paying for packaging myself but seller just kept stating I need to speak to amazon its not their problem. Guys avoid don't bother with first 5 reviews as they pay to get the best reviews posted first

Overall I am extremely happy with this. I got this to replace a previous one that had given up the ghost. For a shorty like me this is a little unwiedly though my OH prefers it simply because he's tall. You can shorten it if you wish by leaving one of the bars off. It will bow up slightly if you push down on the waste tray but I let it free stand and sweep into it to avoid this issue. I also find the waste tray a little bigger and more difficult to empty than my previous one but again not a massive issue. It may involve changing your technique slightly but in the grand scheme of things I am happy with my purchase.

Bristles broken doesnt allow some mess in

So firstly when i opened the box the claws on the dustpan were already broken off, this instantly put me off & made me skeptical on its quality, obviously i’ve only used it a few days so don’t really know how it will hold up. It does generally feel Okay when built.

Secondly there are some reviews which mention the dustpan does not sit flush on the ground so when sweeping into the dustpan it can be quiet difficult to get some things in. - this is exactly the case with mine & i find it so annoying. Yes you can apply less pressure & its a bit better but that doesn’t allow me to be natural & sweep without having to think about it too much, no i’m sweeping & having to focus on getting the technique right which is extremely annoying in a busy house like mine with 5 children!

Very good. Easy to use, nice sturdy handle and a row of teeth to remove bits off the brush. I bought this to replace what I though was a good long handled dustpan and brush set, but it's even better. Highly recommended
