Works, but tight fit for 2021 M1 MacBook Pro 16

I’m a big fan of the Tomtoc sleeves. Used on on my previous 15 inch MacBook Pro, and it provided good protection in the many travels I did with it. The price is very fair considering the quality and alternatives.

Just upgraded to the M1 MacBook Pro 16 (A2485) and this sleeve was supposed to fit. When it went on sale at Amazon I got one. The Macbook does indeed fit, but it is very tight. Do note that I’m using a case on my MacBook. You need to kind of use your hands to help wrap the corners of the sleeve around the laptop. Whereas my previous MacBook and sleeve you could just slide it it in and it was perfect straight away.
So seems that Tomtoc will need to bring out a properly designed sleeve for the new MacBook in due time. With the lack of anything better I’ll be using this one for now.

Goede bescherming maar erg groot!

De laptop wordt ineens een 18" laptop. De hoes is zeer goed gevoerd met een soort luchtkussentjes maar wordt daardoor erg dik en groot. Daarnaast moest ik proppen om de laptop er in te krijgen.

Exactly what I needed for my 14 inch Macbook pro. For the price I expected Apple to supply a simple sleeve or case, but no of course they didn't. This Tomtoc case fits snugly, offers ample padding and looks pretty good too. Only downside is that Amazon NL shipped it without transport envelope but directly in its transparant ziplock bag. This caused some scuff marks and it could've easily fallen during transit. Product itself is recommended.

Bought it for my Lenovo Ideapad 5 Pro 14" laptop which fits like a glove. The padding is a bit over-engineered which make it safe for transport, but might be a bit too much if you use it to carry the sleeve in another bag. I would have rated it 5 stars if the front pocket had some segmentation. The big pocket is great for power cables and a laptop mouse, but it really needs segmentation for smaller items like usb sticks, micro-sd adapters and usb-dongles.

Custodia molto valida, una spanna sopra le altre cinesi che si trovano qui su Amazon, per materiale, comodità e funzionalità. E' rivestita internamente con un materiale spugnoso che attutisce il pc da ogni possibile urto e lo tiene ben riparato. Ingegnosa anche l'idea di posizionare la cerniera un pelo sopra l'alloggiamento per il notebook cosi da evitare possibili graffi durante la chiusura o apertura frettolosa della custodia. Presenta anche una piccola tasca esterna dove è possibile inserire foglietti, chiavette usb, cavi o, come nel mio caso, l'hub per il mio MacBook Pro. Non entra l'alimentatore, quindi andrà trasportato a parte. Piccolo problemino, le dimensioni. Come lunghezza e larghezza ci siamo, come la media delle custodie di questo tipo, ma è davvero troppo spessa. Spessore aggiuntivo sicuramente giustificato dall'imbottitura interna che dona una maggiore protezione ma, all'atto pratico, va a pesare nello zaino e occupa l'intero alloggiamento per pc da 15 pollici presente negli zaini tech nonostante la mia sia la versione da 13 pollici e mezzo. Non credo che il computer, stipato in questa protezione nella versione 15 pollici, possa entrare in uno zaino di quel tipo, ma andrà conservato nel reparto comune con libri e altro. Questa cosa non mi è piaciuta. Infine discorso prezzo, le versioni più gettonate, quindi 13 pollici e 15 pollici costano uno sproposito rispetto ad esempio alla mia versione da 13 pollici e mezzo. Infatti, nonostante io abbia il Mac da 13 pollici, ho preferito prendere quest'ultima versione un pò più grande per risparmiare oltre la metà del prezzo che mi sarebbe venuta a costare la giusta versione. Ecco, a circa 20€ consiglio ad occhi chiusi, ma a 40€, prezzo delle versioni gettonate al momento del mio acquisto, statene alla larga, non vale assolutamente quel prezzo. Spero di esservi stato utile, a presto!

2018/2020 12.9" iPad Pro with Magic Keyboard + Pencil 2 — yes, it does the job.

Like many people, I have the iPad Pro 12.9" 2020 with the Magic Keyboard *and* Pencil 2, and am using the 13" version of this Tomtoc sleeve [B078SD7XVM] (*not* the 13.5" version of the Tomtoc sleeve [B078SD2STD] !).

1. You can fit the whole lot in this Tomtoc sleeve with the Pencil 2 on top of the iPad, but it is a bit tight like that (though to be clear, you can still close the case relatively easily).

2. As an alternative, you can remove the Pencil 2 from the top of the iPad, and instead it easily fits down the side of the iPad in its Magic Keyboard, inside the Tomtoc sleeve.

3. For those without a Pencil 2, then it fits inside the 13" Tomtoc sleeve pretty easily.

Hope this helps others who have likely, like myself, found it very difficult to find an outer sleeve case for the whole "2018/2020 12.9-inch iPad Pro with MK+P2" kit+caboodle!!

Bought this product for my new macbook 16" and it doesnt disappoint. the padding on the inside is great and the product is very sturdy. I would give this item 5 stars however, the pocket on the side is a little difficult to access. The pocket itself is huge and spans the majority of the case, but it does not have much stretch in the material and the opening is small so it can be difficult to retreive items right in the bottom. Also i find it difficult to fit the power brick in. It does fit but with difficulty
It would be a lot better if the zip was on the lon side of the case

Otherwise, amazing case

Ordered to protect my MacBook 16inch laptop. Not many of this quality on the market to fit such a big device. I’m very impressed with the material used - I can’t comment on water resistance as I haven’t and won’t be testing that willingly.

Perfect snug fit for the device with edge protection that feels very sturdy. The material
Inside the main sleeve is so so soft.

Only gripe is that I can’t comfortably fit the enormous MacBook M1 125w charger and plug in the front pocket. My concern would be that the uk plug will either damage the case or worse… damage the laptop due to the 3 pin design of the plug.

That said, I went with this case knowing I’d be putting it into my back pack, so the 3 pin plug travels separately.

Highly recommend if you can use without needing to carry the plug
