Achterlicht twee maanden intensief gebruikt ( 3 uur per dag) Elke dag twee keer opgeladen. Opladen duurt erg lang en lukt nog maar aanzetten lukt niet meer. Geen duurzaam product dus. De achterlichtjes van de HEMA zijn nog beter. Voorlicht werkt nog wel maar lichtbundel zoals op plaatjes is overdreven. Montage op stuurhouder is even wennen. Als je het niet goed doet (knopje indrukken) valt hij van de houder af.

I brought this set on the question asked how bright and everyone said very so I ordered this set then had one person who told me it’s only 200 Lume but I waited for the set to arrive must add arrived very fast and the light is not as bright as I need as I ride all year round though a park and woods but the light is perfect for dull days and the back light was perfect I will use the back light all the time so if your looking for a road bike light this is a perfect set for you off road needs to be a better lume

Good Bright Lights, But You May Have to Double Up

Bought two sets of these, the second set within a few days of the first now that the dark nights of Winter are drawing in.

Firstly these are good lights for the money and certainly bright enough to be seen on the daily communte as I use them. However go off road on unlit country lanes, canal towpaths or discused railway cyclepaths as I do part of my way home and the front lamp isn't powerful enough to penetrate the dark on its own. So those pesky tree-roots, pot holes and other bits of debris that could pose a hazard are difficult to see. Hence why I bought the second set - so a double front-lamp approach would light up the way in the pitch black nicely - which it does (see photos - first one with one light, the other with both lights on). Just be careful to point them down slightly as the beam can be dazzling to oncoming pedistrians, cyclists and traffic whilst on the roads.
The first-set rear lamp I use to augment my already existing, under-saddle light (see photos) by attaching it to the seat post with its silicone strap. The fact that you can tilt the angle of the light is a plus point, but, unlike my existing light, it doesn't come with any undersadle fixings, just the silicone band. No big deal for me though.

The second-set rear lamp, I've attached to my helmet (see photos) to give that added level of visibility on the roads. No complaints over the brghtness of the rear lamps and a single one would be sufficient. However, belt and braces and all that!

According to the brief instructions on the side of the box (no instruction leaflet included), pressing the on/off several times switch on the front lamps rotates the power to High, Middle, Low & Flashing. This it does on one, but not the other which rotates at: Middle, High, Low & Flashing. A fault no doubt and one has to place a hand in front of the light to check which power level it is. Strictly speaking I should return it for a relacement, but I'll save the hassle and live with it I suppose.

So far the battery life on the front lamps is fine, lasting a week on a daily commute of 1 hour on a combination of flashing and constant High mode. There's a blue light that comes on to advise when the power is getting low. Under bright street lights when sat on the bike, the only way to check that the lights are on is to put a hand in front of them. With other lights I've had there's been a small light on top that indicates on or off. A small point so let's hope nether light 'dies' whilst cycling under bright street lights as it won't be obvious.

The same can't be said for the rear lights. On day three of first use after fully charging, I got home to find that one of the lights had competely died (the one I use on the helmet). There's no low-charge warning light, so if that had have been my main light - I would have cycled home in the dark oblivious to the fact that I was lightless. Not good. To be sure, I now put these lights on charge after parking up at home every couple of days.

Other points worthy of note. The Front light fixing mechanism isn't the best quality in the world and I was careful when stretching it over my somewhat thick handlebars, not to snap it as other reviewers have said. I can see how this would happen. Each light attached easily to its fixing mechanism and can quickly be removed when the bike is left to prevent theft.

So overall, not bad lights for the cash. I even like the look of them. As we get deeper into Winter, I'll see how I get on, particularly in the rain.

I was a bit apprehensive about these lights but wanted the usb rechargeable option for ease. Easy to mount although the rear light is a bit fiddly to clip in but once in won't fall off! Have used these for approx. 2 hours of riding and still didn't need charging. Did put them on charge and took about 30 minutes each to full.
I use these for commuting and therefore have them on the flashing setting. Caught the switch for the rear light getting it out of the box and crikey was it bright!! I can see the flashing effect of the front one on road signs 200 yds away so hopefully tin box drivers will actually take notice and see me!
Overall I'm very impressed with these lights for the money. Would I buy again? Yes - 'nuff said!

I have been looking for a light upgrade from some tiny little rubber band type, so I can see the road ahead of me in the dark. I was told that I would need something with 1000 lumen plus for this to be possible and most lights in this bracket are approaching the £100 mark which (for now) I am not willing to spend. I stumbled on this light as I was searching the many lights available and saw one of the images from another reviewer which looked promising. So I thought for the price I would take the plunge and try it out. So I ordered it and have just received it today, great Prime delivery as always. The light comes in a nice little box I would go so far as to say it felt better packaged than some of the more mainstream lights I have seen in some "high street' cycle shops with no plastic in sight so a massive thumbs up on the eco friendly packaging although there is some foam it makes me want to keep the box for storage and if I sell on in the future it's a nice touch. The price for the main light is great but you even get a secondary rear/front strip light too which also adds to the value. I have yet to put them on the bike but the mounts seem pretty straight forward and relatively robust especially for a road bike. I have tested the lights in the dark outside and they are a huge upgrade to what I am used to. These will be perfect for my usage. I intend to use them for road cycling mainly and a couple of upcoming charity rides the first of which is 52miles at night from Manchester to Blackpool so I will be able to give a proper full test review after that. I have added some pictures to give an idea of size and items included in the box. It does state on the box for charging there is a blue indicator light which flashes but the light on mine is definitely green. The Charging cables are very short but you get one for each light which is useful, it would seem any micro USB charging cable will work though I used my GF's Amazon fire HD tablet cable and it worked fine. I would say if you are traveling light the smaller cables may come in useful just make sure you store them in a waterproof bag or something. The only thing that lets this little unit down is the battery life at 100% brightness which is by no means short in comparison to units of similar quality and brightness but it does mean for longer evening rides I will need a backup light, maybe!? I will be testing it soon on the ride mentioned earlier and will probably use different modes for the ride as you can choose from 4 - 100% (3Hrs) - 50%(6Hrs) - 30%(8Hrs) - Flashing(6Hrs). I will probably switch as I move from well-lit areas to unlit roads so may get a bit longer out of it (will report back after). Other than that I am really surprised and happy at the quality and value for money, looking forward to testing it out and hopefully coming back here to put a 5-star review. Watch this space.

I bought this set last winter and I have been riding home in the dark for the last 3 months with it.
The front light provides 200 lumen at full beam which allows me to see the path ahead clearly and the back light let the cars know where I am.
The front light is easy to fit on the front bar and the rear light fits with an elastic strap that is very easy to remove.
The front light can be slightly fiddly to detach and you have to be careful to set it away from the break and gear cable.
At this price I would consider it a level-entry set, that does the job but provides a modest lumen.

Great light nice and bright only thing is when the battery dies it just goes out with no warning so best have a spare back light on together with this one or you mite be riding one dark night thinking your rear light is still on keeping you safe when its not, plus my light has just completely died now in only 10 months of mild use, think il go back to the basic lights were you can atleast replace the batteries with the cell batteries atleast these lights go dull for a few hours before the battery completely dies giving you a warning to replace them but as this rear light doesnt, i have to give it only 3 stars for battery life

I purchased these lights for a member of my family, they are bright and help in traffic during the Autumn and Winter evenings The downsides, these lights are plastic, and only time will tell how durable they are, also the rear lamp has a white light and strobe light options, As it an offence to ride with either a white light or strobing effects on UK Roads, a warning inside the packaging would be helpful to inform users these options do not comply with lighting regulations, or build the light not to offer a White light, or fast strobe effect options.

For £15 these are actually great bike lights. They are only made from plastic, no aluminium heatsink here, but for the price they are excellent. For commuting on roads with street lamps, they are more than adequate. In fact the front light puts out 300lm and is bright enough to use in unlit parks and the like, I wouldn't recommend downhilling on a MTB though! The rear light is also really good, it seems to be better made than the front and is very bright, with a wide range of flashing modes or a steady light from the COB LED. Both lights come with USB to mini USB charging cables and mounts supplied are sturdy, secure and don't need tools to attach them to the bike.

Even for the non discounted price, these lights are a bargain and I'm very happy with my purchase.
