Excellent MacBook Pro 2017 case

I bought the Inateck case in dark grey for a MacBook Pro 2017 touchbar and it is really good.

Finished in a smart dark grey felt like finish, this ensured a good fit with the MacBook 💻 and complemented the space grey finish well.

As a bonus a separate pouch was provided in the same grey finish which was useful for power adapters, cables etc.

The fit was good and avoided the laptop slipping around but wouldn't work if a skin was fitted which wasn't an issue for me.

Perfect for M1 MacBook Air

I bought this to store my new M1 MacBook Air and the size is perfect. It's not loose fitting so the laptop doesn't slide around inside it but it's not too tight as I can still use the pockets to store a slim backup drive and Magic Mouse. The exterior material is soft and well stitched together. The lining is microfiber so the laptop will not be scratched when slipping it into or removing it from the sleeve.

I don't know how well it will protect the device from an impact (and I don't want to test it) but I didn't buy it for this purpose. I just wanted something to prevent scuffs and scratches when commuting. I take my laptop to work in a backpack that has a padded laptop compartment and the sleeve fits in this pocket well. The compartment was probably designed for 15 inch laptops but a 13 inch laptop in a sleeve fits as well.

The accessory bag is the same material as the sleeve and is secured with a brown elasticated string. It also came with a microfiber cleaning cloth. I use the bag to store the MacBook Airs 30W power supply, USB-C to USB-C charging cable, USB-C to Lightning charging cable and the microfiber cloth. There is some space left so you could probably fit a backup drive and cable in there as well.

The only thing I wish the sleeve had was a cut-out so that I could charge the laptop without removing it from the sleeve. Instead what I do is open the top of the sleeve and slide the laptop out until the charging port is accessible. It's not a big deal but it would have been a nice feature.

My laptop fits so snuggly in this. Theres literally no room left for anything else when it's in the main compartment and I can imagine how perfect it must be for travelling. I was able to fit the laptop in the main compartment with my SD card reader, HDMI cable, lighting to usb c cable, usb c to normal usb cable and two mini USB adapters in the front compartment and the charger in the little bag with no problem. Also the cloth it comes with cleaned my laptop very nicely. I'm trying to think of a complaint so more review is more realistic, but the only problem would be the effect of time on the case. It could wear down and trap stains over time but for now, it's perfect.

PERFECT Sleeve for Surface Pro 6

I use this for my Surface Pro 6 with Type Cover.

It really does fit perfectly in the sleeve with enough room to take it in and out with ease. That said, it also is snug enough that it doesn't wobble about at all.

The extra provided sleeve for a mouse is really useful, but I use it for the Surface Charger and, again it is a perfect fit.

The only thing I would have preferred is a dedicated place to put the Surface Pen as it doesn't fit with the tablet. However, there is another pocket that will mean it can't fall out - but it still does wiggle about the sleeve a lot. This is the only reason why I reviewed it as 4 stars rather than 5.

Recent brought a 2019 MacBook Pro 13” and I was worried with using a standard case that it would scratch the grey exterior as previously seen on my older laptops. I stubbled across this and brought it without reading any reviews into it... little bit daft at the time but I just needed something instantly. To my surprise I was met with a high quality case that was completely designed to keep my laptop is brilliant condition, it fits like a glove too! I just wouldn’t recommend putting anything into the pockets at the front as they seem to be tight and due to that it puts pressure on the laptop, a harsh knock would put increasing pressure on your laptop from the items with inside the small pockets, potential damaging the Display. Probably a unlikely event but not worth the risk in my eyes.

I bought this sleeve for my 2018 MacBook Pro last year. The exterior of this sleeve is a felt like material that is soft touch and is slightly water resistant. The perfect material as it won't slight out of your hand easily and will provide ample protection and shock absorption. The inside has this soft lining that will protect your device from scratches, especially if the device screen is exposed such as a surface pro device.

One thing to note is that the fit is very snug, therefore it will not allow other items apart from the device intended to be stored. This in my opinion is a very good thing, as is ensure my device will not be moving inside the sleeve itself, however for some owners it may prove less so as they may wish to store other items. However, this is what the outer pockets of the sleeve is designed for, there is 1 larger pocket located at the front which allows small tablets or other essentials to be placed inside. At the back there is 2 smaller pockets, one is ideal for a smartphone, though I would discourage this as my phone has slide out on many occasions and the other is the perfect size of a card of some sort.

The way the flap that secures the sleeve opens and closes is through a velcro attachment. When opening and closing the sleeve, it can be quite loud and is not ideal for quiet environments such as a Library. Conversely, this can offer several advantages such as being faster to open the sleeve compared to a zip operated sleeve.

Another bonus is that a small bag is included with this purchases which is perfect for storing chargers or spare cables. The small accessory bag is made from the same materials as the main sleeve. I can say that if this was not included, I wouldn't have gone out of my way to purchase an accessory bag. However after a while I soon realised the benefits of having one, such as protecting my MacBook charger from liquids that I also carry in bag and having that separation between my cables and other items in my backpack.

To my knowledge I can not state any noticeable and deal breaking flaws of this sleeve. Overall the quality is outstanding and the main stand out feature is the fit for the device it offers. I can rest easy knowing my device is protected.

bought it to protect my (very flimsily designed) Ipad pro. it does the job and looks fab. Its not designed to accommodate the apple pencil in charge position though (on the new Ipad pro the pencil attaches to the top of the screen using magnets, so the flap on the bag doesnt close properly when it is in place. However, it was never sold as an ipad-specific bag, so Ill not hold that against it, and the pencil can easily slip in next to the ipad. It looks and feels damn smart, and especially for the money !

Nice case for what it is, but not quite suitable for my Surface Pro.

The case is a little shapeless, as in it has no inherent structural reinforcement. It is simply a piece of felt like material shaped into an envelope. That said, it does keep the device scratch free which, given the price point, is probably all it is intended for.

The small pockets might be good for papers or a slim mobile phone but for little else. However, the included mouse / charger pouch is very useful, while not big enough for both mouse and charger, it does keep either safe and contained in your bag.

All in all, it is a fair product for a fair price but not what I was looking for.

Great Sleeve but not if you don’t like mess

The sleeves fabric often gets very dirty easily and the fabric itself falls off which is quite annoying as it can make a mess inside the sleeve too…

Water resistance is okish depending how you use the sleeve if it’s in a bag while it’s pouring outside then the sleeve will only be a bit wet but if u had the sleeve with u while it rained definitely will not be worth it. The softness is great tho but the quality of material isn’t so good since it falls off easily.

I love this case. I use it for my surface pro and can easily fit my pro, mouse, pen, notebook, mobile and also a few other bits and bobs. The cable doesn’t fit in the main case but there is a separate little case which they provide. I don’t really need to carry thecable around much so it’s not something I really use at the moment. If I did cqrrry a cable around I would definitely use it. As for the actual case, i love it, great size, good quality and exactly what I wanted when I ordered it.
