I was particularly happy when I opened my package and the product looked at first impression like good value for money and well made.

I have since returned this to Amazon.

This product is the same product rebranded across Amazon and eBay. Just stick a faceless name on it and make it in China for a fiver. Sell it for 20.

First it's not easy for beginners to put together. The rope kept pulling through the bars.

Next the protector broke after my 4th skipping session.

Then the ends of the handles started to unscrew really easily.

Not often I write bad reviews but I want to stop this mass production of poor product and the only way to stop it is to complain and request improved testing and quality control.

BeMax customer service were responsive and helpful but you can't do much more if the product fails to deliver its basic function.

Does NOT Work Well - Jump Rope Tangles due to Swivel Design

I use jump ropes for cross fit work outs around 4-5 times a week and bought this jump rope a few weeks ago hoping if would be a step up to some of the cheaper jump ropes I own. The pros of this jump rope are you get 2 types of wire rope, the handles are comfortable to hold and are hollow with end caps (I guess you could technically weight them with something if you wanted). However the NEGATIVE for me (and why I gave it 2 stars) is that the swivels at the end of the handles only turn on one plain, in a circular motion. What this results in, is that with if you do jumps and cross your hands, the rope starts to snag and tangle/coil/ curl in the middle after each jump. I literally have had to stop jumping to untangle the wires after 1-2 cross handed jumps!! After you do this a few times it really sucks, and I resort to using another jump rope. There are other (much cheaper) jump rope models on Amazon with much better swivel systems on the handles which allow the wire to swivel in more of a 360 degree motion so the wire never tangles. In summary: If you want to just skip in one way and not cross your hands this jump rope will technically work. But...if you want to do other moves, this jump rope is not a lot of use. There are models out there that do the job better for 1/2 the price.

Thread didn't fit with screws - totally unusable

It appears to be a good quality product but the screws don't fit one of the handles (I assume the one I have is just a defect) as I think the thread has gone. So on the very first time I attempted to use it, the screw fell out detaching the rope from the handle. It lashed across my hand and I still have the mark over 24 hours later. Definitely not the best £23 I've ever spent.

Bought this skipping rope throughout lockdown and have used it for maybe 1 - 2 months of light use. It was great although very dissapointed with the rope splitting already as shown in the pictures. Giving the price I expected the rope to last a lot longer.

It performs pretty well but it's fragility really let's it down. I've accidentally dropped the handle on the gym floor (from waist height) only to have the end shatter. I'd expect it to be a bit more durable.

A nivel general, no es una mala comba. Tampoco es la más barata que he visto por ahí.
Pero bueno, la parte de agarrar es cómoda, y los grosores de cable no son para iniciarte, son para usuarios intermedios, yo que estoy aprendiendo me está costando. Es sencillo llevar un ritmo bastante alto de salto, pero llevar un ritmo lento será muy difícil. El cable tendía a enrrollarse con bastante facilidad durante las sesiones, pero estoy probando a guardarlo colgado, totalmente extendido, sin doblar, en un perchero, y se me enreda bastante menos.

Yo salto en la calle, y trae dos protectores para poner a la cuerda supuestamente para suelos chungos como el asfalto. He estado saltando sobre piedra y a la tercera sesión de salto ya se me ha roto dicho protector. Esperaba que me ofreciera algo más a nivel de duración. No le pido mucho a la comba. Los rodamientos...meh, no son nefastos, pero tampoco excelentes. En mi caso uno va muy fluido y el otro no tanto.

Le doy solamente dos estrellas por las siguientes pegas:
-El enredo de la cuerda que ha sido muy heavy, no podía continuar las sesiones de forma normal y tenía que parar todo el rato para desenredar la cuerda, estuve por descambiar.
-La rotura del protector tan temprana. Por suerte trae un segundo protector. A ver cuánto dura éste. Reviaré el comentario cuando lleve más tiempo.

No es una buena comba

Estoy bastante decepcionado. Los rodamientos no son ni mucho menos rápidos, de hecho uno de ellos gira 1 vuelta y media y gracias... Digamos que no son esos rodamientos de skate o patin que se tiran 30 segundos girando. El mango es cómodo y la presentación buena, pero a nivel funcional es horrible usarla. Con una comba normal de 3€ del decathlon puedo ir bastante más rápido que con esta ya que la cuerda pesa muy poco y se enreda fácilmente. El protector, como decía otro chico, en solo 1 sesión (Y 4 saltos seguidos que me dejaba hacer) ya se ve bastante machacado así que me parece mas que posible que en 3 sesiones se rompa. La cuerda la corté siguiendo las instrucciones que indican ellos -Altura pecho- y creo que queda algo corta (Aunque si es larga peor aún porque coge aun menos impulso).

Le dare una segunda oportunidad pero la verdad es que bastante decepcionado. Seguramente la devuelva y compre una comba económica que me ha dado mejores resultados.
