Purchased after we inadvertently added a new bit of entertainment tech to the telly at Christmas and can't be bothered to scramble round the back of the TV every time we want to us it.

We had to buy an additional HDMI cable for it, but that's all.

Plug up to 3 pieces of entertainment tech HDMI cables into the back of the device, attach it to the telly with another HDMI cable and use the remote or the buttons on the device to choose which one you want to link to.

Even better if the item you want to use is the only one plugged in, this little gizmo will automatically connect it to the TV.

Lifesaver. Cant believe it was so quick and easy to install.

I tried to get 4k 60hz from different devices with a high quality short cable with no luck so just take it as 30hz and it definitely does not pass through hdr/dolby vision to your tv as have tested. So if you are happy with just 30hz and no Dolby vision/hdr then this is for you. It is a solid build and remote works well, doesnt need a power adapter. After failed testing on main tv (needed 60hz and hdr from xbox,firestick) i moved to my small bedside tv and it works well.

I have a main computer and a test / Zoom computer that use a common monitor with an HDMI port, and no DVI or DP ports. The orginal monitor had an HDMI port and a DVI port that were switchable. The change to a monitor with a single HDMI port was an issue that fortunately, was solveable with this HDMI switch. I kept the HDMI cables a short as possible and, as an extravagance, used 8K cables that I had spare. Everything worked first time and, I could have the main and test computers running at the same time, and switch between them with the included remote. In fact, this arrangement is better than the original set up.

Ordered this the other day, as my daughter realised she has only 1 HDMI port on her TV. Delivery was quick enough, and it was packaged well.
There were more good reviews than bad and the bad reviews related to game console connectivity, which was irrelevant to me.
Set up was very easy. It was a good thing we had a spare HDMI cable, as I didn't read the info properly, and thought it was included.
Both a Firestick and a Chromecast have been plugged in, and the remote works just as well as the manual switch to change things over. So far, so good.

Does a job job and works with Sky Q

I need to replace my old HDMI splitter as I found that Sky Q wouldn't work through my old one. My old LCD telly only has one 4K input so this enables me to have three 4k devices attached. The build quality is good, pretty robust and runs from power fed from the devices, so no need to an extra plug socket to power it up. It has bright LED light on the front panel to show which device is active. Tbh the lights are quite bright, so if you want something dark and minimalist, you might want to look elsewhere. The remote is small and functional and works perfectly well, but 95% of the time, mine's switched to Sky so it's just as easy to get of my a&%$ are manually switch it over to a different HDMI channel if I want to feed in a different source. Overall very happy with it. Well built, works well, reliable and reasonably priced.

Doesn't work properly

Sadly this didn't work for me.
I had a PS3, ROKU Box and Virgin TV plugged into it. I also tried to swap these in and out with my PC. The picture kept dipping in and out and I kept getting old TV interference- like just a snowy screen, proper old school.
Anyway, I had to send it back and I went for this instead-

Beware - Fire TV stick needs an extra port

This product worked well straight out of the box, simple to install and use. Very happy so far.

As noted by previous reviewers this does work with the Fire TV stick HOWEVER you will need an extra spare port. This is because the power supply to the Fire stick is attached on the right hand side and there isn't space for this if you are connecting another HDMI cable in the adjacent port. This isn't a shortcoming of the switch, just a warning to buy one with more ports than you require if connecting a Fire stick.

Absolutely the best bar none, unless you want to spend stupid money of course. Three HDMI inputs switchable from where I sit too.

The unit has nice unobtrusive lights, you can see them if you look but they don't cause any bother at all, and in fairness they actually look really nice to boot.

The unit seems to be of a high quality build, a great finish and great all round looks, and I've read others mention the remote, I love that it isn't as obtrusive as the main units for television etc.

Five stars all around.

Nice design but spooled by one feature

Switching to the last source plugged in sounds like a good feature but it's actually annoying. My Roku is powered by a USB from my TV, so whenever I turn the TV on, it switches to the Roku, and I have to switch it back if I want to watch the TV. It would be better if it just fired up using the number 1 socket. The only other gripe is that the LEDs are too bright. Otherwise the unit is solidly made and of good quality, and the remote works really well

Like others have said, you generally don't need to use the remote that comes with this, as it's intelligent enough to pick the right input if you control which device is on and off at the time. But it is useful to have a remote.

I use it to connect a Sky Q box, DVD player and Chromecast dongle. The switch device works as expected; the picture quality is great and it's a very convenient solution for TV's like ours where the HDMI slots are hard to reach and the TV is too big and expensive for small people like me to confidently move around.
