Ordered the 1TB(though it did go down to 918GB) and works like a charm so far. Bought it for extra storage for my PS4, and I'm having no issues with transferring or downloading games onto it.

I needed an external drive which was big enough to get all the 'non-essential' files such as TV shows, movies and photos off my main hard drives to free up space and avoid 'issues'.

At the sale price, this 320GB version was a no-brainer at the same price as a decent 128GB flash drive.
I waited until all my files had been transferred (did it very quickly), and the drive had been tested for speed and reliability for a few days... It's been flawless.

It feels well made and looks nice with a matt finish aluminium shell. Certainly 'feels' worth every penny.

Basically, for the price it does exact what I need, quickly and reliably (so far, touch wood)

Great little drive

Connected the drive to a Toshiba TV for a relative to watch some TV shows and movies which i downloaded onto the drive for them. Ended up getting a USB extender with an on/off switch as the TV doesn't seem to like the drive being plugged in and powered continuously from the TV. Had no issues with drive. Drive is seem in windows 10 and is seen by the TV, have used FAT32 and NTFS on drive and both seemed to work with the TV. Have it at FAT32 currently - this was when I was troubleshooting the drive and realized that the tv doesn't like it always plugged in.

I got the 160GB version in conjunction with a Y cable to expand the storage on my 32GB Wii U. No problems so far, though the disk is so silent with no vibrations or heat whatsoever even when running games off it that I do wonder if it's actually an SSD or flash drive (which shouldn't be used with the Wii U, apparantly). I can't tell at all when the disk is spinning but haven't had any problems so far and as long as it keeps working I see the silence and lack of flashing lights as a good thing!

Derrière ce nom inconnu qui doit être une marque distributeur, se cache un HDD de WESTERN DIGITAL l ! Ceci est rassurant.. Les plus : NTFS parfait, taille réduite, ultra-mince, élégant en version dorée..Le moins, sans être un moins quand même : une connexion bizarre à l'autre bout de l'USB classique..Je ne comprends pas l'intérêt ? Mais comme il est livré avec le cordon qui va bien, no souci !!!
Juste faut pas le perdre ! Dernier détail : fabriqué en.....Chine, mais j'ai plein de produits chinois qui marchent bien..Et de nos jours, hein !!

Filled this up with Anime, TV and Movies, got about 60gigs left and it's been about a month. It's doin the thing well, I'm happy with it. The plastic on the edges does seem fragile, but I could care less about that. Only gripe is that it ends up only being 465gb to use.

Edit: it's now Feb 25th, almost half a year of use, I've removed and added plenty, it's put through daily almost all day every day use and I have yet to have an issue, plan on getting a second 1tb and just keeping this one for just anime, great buy and a great price! Definitely been recommending this to people.

Edit: it's now August 26th, I have noticed some videos not playing like they used to, this may be due to getting a second one and having them both plugged in and running and the same time (my laptop isn't the best) other than that all files are still there, they still play (though some Mkv files seem to have more artifacts, this could just be my laptop though)

Feb 14th 2020, final edit: still works fine, no complaints.

May 5th 2022, finalfinal edit: it's been years and years and it still works.

I have owned several external hard drives in the past which were disappointing in terms of storage space. The last one actually started smoking/caught fire while attached to my Mac and I lost everything on it. I was given my first Maxone as a present - the person who gave me it who was using one and highly recommended it. I was so impressed with it, I recently bought another one.

Really nice looking drive with the brushed material, I got the rose gold which looks modern. The drive itself feels sturdy so I'm not overly worried about damage either. Was very simple to use, just plug in then you're off - unless you're using it with a gaming console. The USB connector provided works perfectly but the part that goes into the HDD does not go all the way in. Maybe this is the case with all connectors of this type (I'm not familiar) but I worry about debris and things catching on the metal that is hanging out instead of fully popping in.
