As I often spend ten hours of more sat at my desk, I find that my legs become stiff and swollen. I always try to walk before starting work, and also afterwards, but it's not always possible when I'm busy. So I bought this mini cycle to try it out, and I'm actually impressed with it. I find I can move my legs without really thinking about it, so it doesn't interrupt what I'm doing. It helps prevent my legs from swelling and feeling heavy, which is fantastic, and I can concentrate on my work and still keep active. It has lost a star as the screen stopped working after the first use, and now either stays on zero or is completely blank, but that doesn't really bother me. It also folds up nicely so can be kept stored away when not in use.

EDIT
Started squeaking very loudly after a few weeks of daily use. After spraying on some WD40, and tightening up all the screws, it continued to squeak loudly for another 10-15 minutes, and I was just about to give up on it when it stopped. It is now...thankfully...lovely and quiet again.

The squeaking has now reached a point where no amount of WD40 can stop it, and the pedals have started wobbling and no real resistance can be maintained. I've knocked a star off for this as I had hoped it would last longer. But as it is used daily, sometimes for three hours I can't really complain, and for the price I suppose I can replace it each year...but would prefer to be able to just replace parts and not add to more rubbish in the environment. Still think it's a nice little exercise bike though, love that I can fold it up and put it out of the way, just a shame it's now wobbly and very noisy.

Bought this to get some pedal exercise in the winter ready for fair weather cycling in the warmer drier months. Very cheap so I didn't expect much and that is what you get. It is simply a bent bar through a plastic housing and a screw with a knob on that you tighten down onto the bar to provide friction as a means of adjusting the pedal resistance. You cannot add much resistance without the metal bar getting hot and after about ten minutes of pedalling the bar gets too hot to touch. I had to take the toe straps off as they are quite small and not adjustable. Only suitable for light use .

Started to squeal!

I’ve been using this every work day for a month. To start with it was great, really quiet - I could actually peddle away on conference calls and no-one could hear. But it got nosier and nosier and now has a really annoying high pitched squeal if I use it for more than about 10 minutes in one go. It is reasonably cheap though and If you are not sure if you will stick with it, it’s worth the money as a trial. I’ll be switching to a more expensive one now I know I will use it....hopefully the more expensive ones will stay quiet!

It’s a very useful product but I found it would slip on the floor as you use it and the tension on the resistance dial doesn’t hold for very long. Also the metal where the pedals are heats up very quickly and It’s very easy to burn yourself if you don’t know and try to put it away.

I was looking forward to receiving this, it is ok but you don't feel like you have achieved much, the tension is not great, just feels like you are in 1st gear on a bike so no resistance really, would have been much better if you could change the tension and make it a little harder to pedal

Delivery good (via Prime). Apart from two screws missing from the plastic casing, the main problem with this item seems to be the same problem with all these types of exercise pedals... the resistance - or lack of.
There are dozens on Amazon, and they all look like rebadged versions of exactly the same item.. with exactly the same fault. You can not tighten the tension knob up tight enough to give any resistance on lots of these machines.
I thought about keeping it, and just peddling away 'til my legs gave up, but really, if a feature is offered, it should work on every one of it's machines. I wonder how many of the returned pedals are just sent straight back out, complete with fault, hoping that people will find it too much trouble to send back?
Mine's going back.
Not good enough, I don't care how cheap they are.

Two problems:
The peddle mechanism is very cheap without proper bearings. Very narrow so my feet catch the sides.
The second problem is the chair and slippage. Unless the chair you use is very rigid it will damage the hinges. Although using two non-slip matts the machine still moves when cycling.
A cheap machine at a cheap price.

A bit flimsy, low resistance, batty display unit

Essentially, the product works - so far - but doesn't feel sturdy enough for heavy use in the long run (I am a 6-foot man who can pedal fairly hard). The display unit craps out after a while, and the calorie-counter gives outlandishly inaccurate readings when it decides to work at all. No way can this thing burn 1kcal in 8 revolutions. I'd say halve it and you're in the ballpark. However, it is cheap, easily to stow, and fine if what you want is to trundle away gently watching TV. And that's what I got it for. Not great; not terrible. I wonder how long it will last...

the peddles have straps which are not adjustable, but with some care, you can still pedal but on a carpet, it tends to 'slip away' from you which can be a nuisance. So it works but not really recommended unless you have small feet. Sadly I don't.

Very lightweight. Slips on floor. Purchased mats for underneath but still slips so unable to use. Not a very smooth ride?? Confined to garage. Waste of money for me but I have no doubt it is very successful for others.
