This case was the wrong size, too small and not suitable for my Terra Ed binoculars.... AFA-Fotohandel e.K. would not accept them as a return, saying I had unpacked and used them and that I was outside of the 14 day policy they had (which I cannot find on their page). I could find a 30 days return policy which the seller told me didn’t apply as I had unpacked and used the case. Unpacked yes, as how else could I find out they were unsuitable… used, impossible as my binoculars do not fit the case.
Then I was told in German (here is a translation) “It's amazing that you need more than 14 days to realize that the bag does not fit.”
If you open your front door and then slam it on your head a couple of times, you will, I assure you, have a more pleasurable and pleasing experience than I have with AFA-Fotohandel e.K.
I have since bought a very suitable case from Clifton cameras in Bristol who also stock Zeiss products, they are much cheaper and email you in English (which is very helpful if you don’t speak German).
I made an A-Z complaint to Amazon who are currently organising a refund… 10/10 Amazon and a :-) and 0/10 and a sad face :-( for AFA-Fotohandel e.K.
