The suction cup is amazing. I tried it on glass and on the "not so smooth" dashboard of my Prius and the suction is just amazing. On the glass it is literally difficult to remove even when you need to change the position.
The material are good quality and the assembly is solid. When the screws are tighten there is no juggling around. It is firmly sold on place.
The magnet are extremely strong. Even too strong in my opinion. There is no way that my iPhone XR with Mous case can fall from it. I even have to use two hand to hold the holder and with the other one pull the phone becase of the magnet force.
HOWEVER... all these great features means nothing if the little piece of metal provided has a very weak glue. Because of that they even provide a clear plastic to apply between the case and the metal piece. However, as you can see from the picture, the glue did not hold and the phone fall out leaving the metal attached to the magnet. This happened when I was driving with a consequent scary and dangerous moment.

On the other hand the product seems to perform well and I will update in more depth in the future however, the QA and packaging for the product leaves much room for improvement.
So far it’s seems the product is capable of holding the weight of an iPhone 8 Plus (205g) whilst resisting expect forces exerted on a vehicle transferred to the cabin of a vehicle on Swiss cheese, neglected British roads. I will test with a Sony z3 tablet soon (270g) and report back.
I would say there is only just enough resistance in the ball joint to prevent unexpected slippage with my iPhone 8 Plus (this will obviously not affect you if you are using a much lighter phone). More resistance would be better or alternatively mechanical notches or a tightening system of sorts as a large phone and significant bump in the road may cause this ball joint to eventually slip.
The contact patch for the adhesive is tiny 24mm in diameter and the contact surface for the magnetic face is adequately soft grippy rubber and 30mm in diameter. The adhesive is adequate but only time will tell if it holds up through temperature changes. The thickness of the sponge below this adhesive is thin around 1mm deep before the metal body of the base will impact the surface it is being attached to. This will affect you if you are attaching it to a surface which is curved.
The two metal disks supplied are thin sheet metal, sturdy, approximately 0.25mm in thickness and 40mm in diameter. An additional adhesive is supplied (both 3M), two thin plastic covers come in the packaging and finally a single alcohol preparation pad (another would be nice).
Finally, the remaining surfaces of the holder have been finished in a ‘faux leather’ texture which appeals to me and gives a nice aesthetic. They are somewhat soft touch.
Overall I am happy with the performance however, this is completely overshadowed by the damage to my item before I even got it out of the packaging. I would have expected the anodised black metal areas of this item to be better protected or alternatively a higher quality anodising process to have been used or a lacquer for hardening.
Be warned! If you purchase this item you may find the QA for the surface finish may not be up to the standards you expect it to be (if you are so inclined to be pedantic about such things).

I wanted to update this review as YOSH took the effort to get in contact following the concerns in my review. In my view customer service counts for a lot and I appreciate their efforts to sort out my scratched unit.

Just a heads up: The suction cup has a glue (yes, glues. Although you, with very much effort, still can pull it off the windscreen). So I have put a see-through film (idk if you can see it in the picture attached) in the windscreen to avoid future headache whenever I need/want to take it off.
Overall it is a very very good product, highly recommended.
100% I would buy it again.
