So I decided to give it some time using this headset before giving it a review. I've had it for a week or so now. I play alot of Destiny2 with my friend and my current headset, which I got with my Xbox, is beyond painful to wear with a bad mic and less than perfect sound quality. Apologies in advance as this is a bit of an essay review but I've also added marks out of ten for each section so I hope it helps. I bought this headset after three weeks of review reading, review watching, stat comparing and a lot of umming and ahhing.
Design:
Online it looked pretty awesome, I expected it to look the same in person but I was let down as it looks and feels cheap. It's pretty much plastic and basic cushioning. It also marks really easily, mine was already slightly scratched when it arrived but as it was clear that it'll get more marked in the future I wasn't too bothered. The Controls are packed together and look messy and badly designed. It really doesn't wow when you look at it but in comparison to my current headset it's a massive upgrade.

Sound:
I'm not a sound boffin for sure but I do own a pair of Sony wh-1000xm3 which are a fantastic headset for sound and noise cancellation but I always had issues using it wirelessly with Xbox (would have to use the xbox app on my phone to voice chat in parties). I have to be honest the sound quality is kind of close but I wouldn't use it for music. At times some parts of music isn't as clear or defined as it is with my Sony headset, so if Im honest I prefer my Sony ones as they have more depth and definition. I love the superhuman hearing mode and I will admit it was a big selling point for me. It works great, especially when you need to be sneaky sneaky. There have been moments of sound drops when listening to Spotify and in Game Play but nothing really noticeable and it only lasts a split second. I have to say playing Destiny2 with these on have been such a game changer, music is so much clearer and game play is so much more indepth, I feel drawn in more and its really rather immersive. Didn't realise how good the soundtrack on this game was until I started using these. However it doesn't block out outside noise as well as I thought it would, maybe my Sony headset has spoilt me too much, but this wasn't too much of a big deal as I didn't buy it for noise cancellation.

Comfortability:
I was worried about this alot due to alot of reviews I read, and they were right it is pretty tight, because I've got a small head it hasn't bothered me too much or caused any pain but I'm not sure how others would cope. Unlike my current gaming headset, its super comfortable after a couple of minutes. Even forgot it was on at one point. Ear cushions, despite their cheap look, are comfortable and the head band is comfy too.

Connectivity:
As these headsets are made to be used with Xbox I wasn't really that worried about connecting it to my xbox except for the reviews online about communication issues. I have the Series X and Xbox One and it connects to each flawlessly. It is so simple to connect them and I've not experienced any issues whilst using them. I honestly have no idea how and why others have struggled or run into issues in this department. It turns on my consoles (which ever one its paired too) when you turn it on, which is a feature I love, and so far the process has been flawless, so easy and one of the main reasons I didn't return it.

Mic:
I love the flip to mute thing but if im honest I don't use it that much when I'm gaming with my party. I also find it annoying that the slightest touch or graze of my hair gives uncomfortable feedback, its super sensitive. My friends advise that they can hear me very clearly and commented in game at how much better it is than before. So that's a positive.

Controls:
So the design of these looks congested and cheap yet again. The plastic feel of it is obvious in use, its a little dissapointing, however it works like a dream. I love that I can easily switch sound modes, not sure why superhuman hearing mode is selected via the power button (that seems like a bit of a design flaw) but what I love about it the most is the ease of changing the chat volumes and game volumes so you can hear your friends so much clearer.

Sound Software:
I dont know why I was expecting more but I was, the software is nice to look at but gives you only two sound options to play about with (unless there's more magically hidden somewhere) but, as advised by the instructions, I updated the firmware straight after I got it out of the box and that process was pretty straight forward and swift. App itself will only be used for firmware updates and can be simply downloaded from App stores.

Price:
Honestly, there are a lot of other headphones on the market which are more affordable and have the same tech stats. I went for this brand and model based mainly on its Xbox wireless compatibility. The only reason I didn't go for the stealth 700 is because I won't be using it with anything else but my xbox consoles (I use my Sony headphones for everything else). The external design and appearance makes it look cheap and not worth the price tag. I'm not sure why it's so expensive especially, as preciously stated, there are so many other variants out there with the same tech spec, lower price and better design. Personally, after buying it, I would say its worth £50-60 and not £90.

Overall:
Its not a bad headset in use. Mic is clear altho a bit sensitive. Sound is great and immerses you into the game really well but doesn't block outside noise well so if you live in a noise household these would be a waste of money for you. It's comfortable for long gaming sessions with no issues (6 hours) despite its initial tightness and connecting to my consoles was beyond easy. However, overall its design, features and price do not coinside. Its cheap looking and cheap feeling. For nearly £100 this headset does not look and feel like its worth it. I'm almost embarrassed by it and if I'm really honest I wish I had spent a bit more on a more attractive headset with a less annoying mic and better sound (I like listening to Spotify on xbox). Still, it's great for now but doesn't feel like it'll last, I have a sneaky suspicion those reviews about its fragility are right. If you want a headset to look, feel and work like the money you paid for it I wouldn't buy this one. I would invest in another headset. If you're not too worried about design and just want a headset with no nonsense console connectivity, semi immersive sound and clear mic then this may be just for you.
