I bought this rope to train at home and from the pictures it looked it was a really good product. When I received it, my assumptions were correct: the product came in a dedicated bag, it came with two different ropes, rope protectors, screw replacements, and two handles that were of very good quality. It is even possible to insert inside the handles some weights (not included) to train the arms and shoulders too.

So far, everything was super good. The problem was when I tried the rope. I had to adjust the length of the rope to my height, so I unscrew the adjusting screw and screw it back several times, until I was comfortable with the length of the rope. Unfortunately, at one point, the screw was not going inside the base anymore. In other words, even if I kept rotating the screw to fix the rope to a certain length, the screw was staying in its position and it was eventually falling off, not fixing the rope to a specific position. I tried and tried again to fix the screw to its base, but as you can imagine the base was broken and it was not working anymore. Note that it broke after adjusting the screw only 3-4 times, which is normal when using a rope for the first time, and that I was very careful when screwing the screw.

At first I thought I got a faulty rope, so I returned it and bought it again. I was wrong: the second rope had exactly the same problem, the base where the screw goes broke and the screw was rotating while staying in the same position and not fixing the rope anymore.

It is really a pity, without this fundamental flaw, I would have definitely given 5 stars to the product, because the quality of all the other elements is just excellent.

Detailinfos:
Da ich gefallen am Seilspringen gefunden habe, war ich auf der Suche nach einen neuen, besseren Springseil. Nach einiger Recherche bin ich zu dem BeMaxx Fitness Speed Rope gekommen.
Mittlerweile habe ich das Seil in einigen Trainings ausprobiert und bin absolut begeistert. Die Griffe sind sehr gut verarbeitet und lassen sich auch mit verschwitzen Händen gut halten. Das Seil ist sehr dünn, was das Training mit hohem Speed ermöglicht. Ein zweites Seil ist ebenfalls im Lieferumfang enthalten. Ebenfalls dabei und sehr sinnvoll ist eine kleine Transporttasche, dann fliegt das Seil nicht immer einzeln in der Sporttasche rum.

Die Einstellmöglichkeit für die entsprechende Seillänge ist sehr gut und einfach gelöst, das überschüssige Seil lässt sich mittels Seitenschneider einfach abschneiden. Bei einer Körpergröße von 1,90m waren bei mir noch mind. 15cm Seillänge zu viel, also wirklich für jede Körpergröße ausreichend.

Zuletzt noch ein Wort zum Händler: nicht nur schnelle Lieferung sondern vor allem der Support nach Kauf ist echt erwähnenswert. Neben einer netten Mail, in der sich der Händler vorstellt bekommt man auch noch ein Handbuch für den Einstieg ins Seilspringen als pdf-Dokument zum Download mitgeschickt. Tolle Idee und sehr gut umgesetzt. Ich wünsche dem Händler weiterhin Erfolg und bin neugierig auf die weiteren Produkte.

Fazit: Absolute Kaufempfehlung.

new to jump rope, I had never skipped before, great exercise when you get the bug, brought 4 different ropes in 2 months ,cheapest £6.75 dearest £19.99 just could not resist trying different ones out, prices for ropes are cheap considering the value you get from using one, especially when you see a steady improvement. All ropes had their merits but this one stood out for me as the one that was the best rope for the following reasons:
the cheaper speed ropes, adjustment method does not not secure rope in position, it works fine until you drop a skip and you want to complete your set immediately, the rope moves so when you restart it is not the correct length
dearest speed rope used Allen key and grub screw, fine if you know your exact length but if you alter it a few times the combination wears and then does not not tighten securely (There was a spare for both)
heavier leather rope with large wooden quality handles was good especially for beginner, but you would soon want a speed rope as you improved (maybe even to the double over,)
This rope comes with the most robust easy repeatable adjustment, two ropes are provided different thickness to suit , with protection rubber for each size for outside use , This rope is easily the best value, but the bearings, hey, give them a manual spin and they still spin 10 seconds later, how good can you get, examination shows them be be a proper race. The other rope sets never even got close. checked the other ropes for sale on amazon with these observations and this one wins hands down A £40 pound plus rope might be better, but at this price it would be good if you you try one first, The cross rope looks good but at the European price that would have to be a Xmas present to self.

My first skipping rope, I went through a lot of different listings reading the feedback, good and bad very carefully, plus watched some YouTube videos on what to look for in my first rope, I wanted to loose some weight whilst exercising! This rope came quickly as stated and looks at least as good as the picture, it feels good in the hands and the rope does have some weight to it. Once I had watched a few how to videos, I am now well on my way, it is much more work than you think and you know straight away that it is great exercise, if your thinking of getting one, definitely do it you will not regret it, and this rope is a great starter, well made, I feel like I made a good choice of rope. Many Thanks guy's I will gladly shop again with you in the future!

I was on the hunt for a piece of fitness equipment that could provide a full-body cardio workout from the comfort of my home. What else is a girl to do during lockdown? I am highly satisfied with my purchase. It comes with a nice quality carry bag ideal for traveling around and, as advertised, it provides smooth rotation during a session, and the handles provide solid grip even when palms become sweaty. My grip hasn’t slipped yet but my buttock sure has taken a whipping! No pain, no gain!

I feel it has been improving my strength, endurance and coordination over the past week. It provides me with a blood pumping workout, leaving me out of breath and feeling energised. All I need now is more practice to increase my speed and skill as jumping rope is a lot harder than it looks. As a beginner, this rope is pushing me to break more boundaries than if I had gone with something that was more tailored to a beginner, and so I’m glad I went with it. It’s become an essential part of my fitness regime.

For something that looks so simple to use, it provides quite a challenge! I like the quality of the handles, and how lightweight the rope is to skip with. I skip on outdoor surfaces such as concrete/grass and the rope is so thin that I am probably going to need to purchase an exercise mat to avoid damaging the bottom of the rope as it hits the ground. It does, however, come with rope protector but I feel this would wear fairly quickly.

Das Seil liegt durch die ergonomischen Griffe gut in der Hand, lässt sich über die Stellschrauben schnell in der Länge verstellen und schwingt auf Grund der Kugellager ohne zu haken durch. Somit sind auch hohe Geschwindigkeiten und mehrfache Unterschwünge möglich.

Good quality rope at a great price

I bought this to help improve my fitness. I have been using the rope for about a week. The skipping rope is well made and this far appears to have been made to a decent standard. It was easy to size and assemble and easy to use and my skipping times are slowly increasing like my fitness. I was not able to fit the rope protector and some assistance/ advice on this would be helpful. All in all a good quality rope.
