This is by far the most comfortable sleep mat I have ever used and will definitely be my go to sleep mat from now on. It is everything you need for a backpacking trip. Small, Light and comfortable.
I know some people have said they've had issues with them deflating overnight but I've not found that to be the case with my one.
Although it looks too long for my tent in the picture I've added, it did actually fit in the sleep area perfectly and also fits perfectly into my OEX Phoxx 2 V2 solo tent.
I would suggest you use this mat with an insulating layer underneath such as a foil blanket or something similar or you may well feel the cold from underneath in cooler weather but if used with an insulating layer you will have a good and comfortable nights sleep.
I've seen it said by other owners that they think it takes a lot to inflate it and that you should really use an inflation bag or a pump. I say that's just not necessary. They say you wouldn't want to be blowing into it after hiking up a hill but I think we'd all be taking 5 or 10 minutes to get our breath back anyway after a hike uphill and the mat inflates very easily with lung power so don't let those other reviews put you off.
All in all as I've said I think it's the perfect mat for any camper / backpacker.

Wonderful nights sleep on a Bushcraft Course

So easy to blow up without a bag/pump. Super comfy and was warm and cozy on a Bushcraft course in the woods when it got down to 3c one night. Didn't roll off it in the night and when lying on side hips didn't touch to the ground underneath. No deflation issues and stayed fully inflated for all four nights. An awesome mattress for a really good price. I did wonder if the sleeping bag would just slide/slip/slither off the pad in the night but everything stayed in place. The slightly raised edges really helped I think. 100% recommend this beautiful bit of equipment. Happy Camper :-)

Always used cheap and cheerful air beds in the past and decided to give one of these a try after being told they're excellent.

Should have gotten one sooner.

It takes around 20 seconds with a bog standard air bed pump to inflate and holds air all weekend no issue. Despite not being the thickest bed it still offers a surprising amount of padding. Best part for me personally is how simple it is to deflate and pack away, no more messing around trying to get all the air out of the bed and somehow fit it back in the box it came in. This thing folds up into its bag super easy and is that small it will happily fit in a drinks bottle pouch on a rucksack.

So if you're looking for something you can quickly set up, take down and is small/lightweight then I'd seriously give this a consideration.

This review is based on a single trip usage, I might have more accurate review after a few trips.
I was looking for an ultra light, affordable sleeping mat for single hiking and backpacking which might be fit to the weather conditions of the UK (I have no intention to wild camp subzero), and as it seems, I found it.
I went wild camping after 25+ years of brake, so I became a bit soft (prefer warmer environment as ever before). I gained some extra weight during the lockdown (I am still not a giant, under 180 cm and luckily still under 80 kg), but this mat suits me well. It is easy to inflate with or without my Trekology 30L pump sack, also it is easy to deflate at the end of your trip. During the night if I moved, there were no any annoying noise. Compare to my other sleeping mat (Jökel), this one is more comfortable. I was lucky with the weather (the temperature was about 2-3 °C at night), my sleeping bag and mat kept me warm enough.

I am a 'side sleeper' and I tend to be most comfortable in the foetal position so with thinner mats my hips tend to press on the ground. Over the years I have become used to that but with this mat being some four inches thick I will be much more comfortable at night. When lying on this mat no part of me touched the ground.
It needs to be said that the insulation provided by this mat will not be enough for use in winter but I plan to use it on top of a foam mat so that I'll have the best of both worlds - warmth and comfort. And from late spring, through summer and into autumn the mat will be adequate on its own.
I did notice a very slight tendency to roll on the mat but nowhere near as much as I've found with traditional 'Lilo' style inflatable mattresses and I did not feel in any danger of rolling off the mat. Having tried it over several nights at home, I am now looking forward to using it when the lockdown ends and I can go bikepacking.
ADDENDUM DATED 11 MOTHS AFTER ORIGINAL PURCHASE. Has anyone else discovered that the mat simply loses its inflation for no apparent reason? I have tried immersing it in water but I cannot find any bubbles so maybe it simply leaks through the fabric?

Great pad for side/splay sleepers

This pad is perfect for me as a front/splaying sleeper, it had the height that allows me to stick a leg of the side and relax a hip after a days walking, and the curve gives flexibility for positioning arms and shoulders to relieve stain points and not suffocate myself in the pad as if common on air beds.
Points to be aware of:
1. this is a high pad, so if you have low clearance tents be aware you will be close to the top - I think anyone nearing or over 6ft would find it uncomfortable in a typical 1 man tent for example.
2. It is a narrow pad, and with the curve, if you are a back sleeper it may feel very small and actually quite enclosing as your shoulders would be forced up and over you. But then if you sleep on your back you are most probably a horrific snorer and deserve a bad nights sleep so..this could be considered a pro for the rest of your campsite.

I really liked this. After buying a previous sleep mat that was highly recommended on Amazon I found it did nothing for me and I woke up absolutely stiff. This couldnt be more opposite.

As someone with a larger body, I wanted something that wouldn't tip and be a balancing act when I turned over in the night. It was comfortable and solid. Easy to blow up and left me well rested. When deflated it packs up so light.

The only negative is obviously the price, I would have liked it to be cheaper!

Great camping mattress

This mattress is very light and folds down very small when deflated. It is easy to inflate by mouth and when fully inflated it is much higher off the ground than all of those (very expensive) self inflating sleeping mats. It is is ideal for carrying on wild camps, bike touring or kayak touring. I actually bought it to use in my mini camper but I will also be taking it in my kayak for overnight wild camps as it is so small, light and comfortable. Great product.

Comfortable & really compact sleeping mat that’s easy to inflate & fully deflate in no time

Great sleeping pad, very compact & lightweight so easy to bring on any camping trip. I don’t bring a pump or have one of those inflating bags so when I first tried blowing it up it seemed to be taking a while but then all of a sudden it was fully inflated & it had taken less than a minute. The valve is one of the best things about it, opens one way to inflate & another to deflate, makes it easy to inflate & even easier to deflate. It fits most standard pumps & inflating bags but as I say don’t think you need it.
I prefer this larger rectangle shape too for comfort & the slight curve does help with any rolling. I’ve used this plenty of times now & never had any issues with it deflating over night.
I see some reviews mentioning it being noisy when you’re moving about on it. Personally I’ve never really noticed it, maybe it does make a little bit but gotta remember you’re sleeping in a tent on the ground not in a luxury bed in the Ritz.
So I’ve found it really comfy, easy to inflate/deflate so compact for backpacking/camping
Last thing also got a trekology Aluft pillow which is again very compact (fit easily in yur pocket), easy to Inflate/deflate & has a strap & anti slip material to attach to the sleep mat

I thought it was OK but as I've nothing other than a lilo to compare it too I can't rave about it. I checked the point about blowing it up in 2 minutes and although I have been checked out and have the lung capacity of a 30 year old it took me 2 and a half minutes. For that reason I didn't feel the need to buy the overpriced mini battery operated inflator. I did meet up with someone who lent me his to try. It was great to be able to get on with something else whilst my bed inflated but on a long hike I wouldn't carry the extra weight.
The mattress retained the air and didn't need re-inflating. It packed down into the stuff sack with no issues and I slept reasonably well. I wasn't uncomfortable during the night.
