200ml Reiniging Oplossing Royale 200ml fles en supersoft microvezeldoek. Oplossing omvat micro-verstuiverspray om een gelijkmatige coating van reinigingsoplossing over het LPS-oppervlak te garanderen. Reinigt ca. 500 lp's.	Record reinigingsborstel De supersoft fluwelen vinyl platenborstel tilt en verwijdert voorzichtig oppervlaktestof en vuil van uw vinylplaten en lps. De borstel kan ook nat worden gebruikt om grond in vuil uit uw platen te verwijderen. I'm a record seller, this is what I do as one of my major sources of income these days...

I wanted to write this review to let everyone know how long the solution lasts. As it stands, I've cleaned 55 LPs with this solution (both sides and some of them double LPs)... I'd say about a 5th of the bottle has gone (see my first photo). Pretty long-lasting if you ask me. It's a very thorough cleaning solution too

The only criticism I'd say is the small bristle brush, that's used to clean the dust off the velvet cleaning pad, becomes frayed too easily (see my second photo) - I would have liked this tiny brush to be a bit tougher. I'd also say that if you're buying this kit to clean a whole heap of records... it's worth purchasing an additional drying rack... I could only dry one at a time and it slowed me down whilst getting through cleaning my big pile of LPs.

Overall a great purchase.

Given the current times, found myself with a load of spare time on my hands. My old hi-fi system is up and running again!
Unfortunately my vinyl collection hasn't seen the light of day for about 25 years and I wasn't putting a stylus near it without a good clean.
I'll be honest - I was surprised that this stuff worked so well as I hadn't high expectations.
I tested it on a copy of 'Equinoxe' (Jean Michel Jarre) from 1978. Although stored correctly, there were a few dusty patches on one side as well as what appeared to be spots of mould. (This copy had been played A LOT between 1978 & 1995!) Followed instructions to the letter: sprayed directly onto the LP, carefully avoiding the label, then wiped with the supplied micro-fibre in a clockwise direction. Left to dry completely on the supplied stand.
Used the included anti-static 'brush' while record was spinning to remove dust...etc. before dropping the stylus.
(There is also a stylus brush included - not attempted to use it yet and may never.)
Vinyl sounds as good as new. And, without being all retro, I would say it sounds even better than the CD version - much more depth. (Audiophiles out there will know what I mean.)

Very pleasantly surprised with the product and I would recommend to anyone with a desire to rescue and revamp their old vinyl collection.

I have mixed feelings about this.

The pros:

The instructions that come with the kit are very clear. The stand is quite handy for drying the records after wet cleaning.

You get a lot of cleaning fluid, which does very well in cleaning up old records, and managed to remove some old fingerprints. The stylus brush is great! In general it looks very smart.

Cons:

The velvet cleaning pad doesn’t do much of anything. I have another one which does a lot better job of dry cleaning and getting the dust out of grooves.

A BIG con was the shedding on the big blue microfibre cloth. There were visible chunks of fabric falling out of it as soon as I opened it out, and it left a lot of fibres on the record, some visibly caught in the grooves, after I cleaned with it, that had to be brushed away after.

Cleans a vinyl record very well and love the kit. Read complaints about the microfibre cloth loosing bits on the record. Gave it a good shake before use and have had no such problems. Love the record stand, and brush for cleaning the needle too.

I've recently returned to vinyl after restoring a high-end 1975 Hitachi music centre and was very kindly given a couple of 1969/70 albums by a friend as a "welcome back to vinyl" gift.

They were very dirty and played with a near-continuous stream of crackle, clicks and pops. Initially, I put this down to their age but decided they were desperate for a clean anyway so bought the full cleaning kit.

It would be an overexaggeration to say that they've been returned to mint condition, but the improvement is genuinely massive with the vast majority of audible artifacts either greatly reduced or gone completely.

For comparison, I compared them to a 2021 pressing that I bought brand new and sealed that I've only played once, and the difference in surface noise, pops and clicks is surprisingly small considering the half century age difference.

Due to the technical limitations of vinyl as a format, it's never going to match CD for audio quality, but if you want to hear it at its very best on the equipment you have, I'd highly recommend this cleaning kit. It's quick and easy to use and the results may just blow you away.
