Apple Pencil 1st Gen. was too slippery and very noisy when selecting prodding the screen ( I use a stylus when typing) after using it for a few days clear that it needed a grip and ( when the internet told me there was a solution to the noise problem) silicone tips. Suspicious of the claims and worried about negative reviews, I chose this one as the best risk factor, if they failed then I’d only lost a fiver. THEY WORKED WONDERFULLY - and made using my handwritten notes so much easier to control. I noticed no reduction in response from the pen itself. The reports that they fall off easily is a misnomer. They hold on very well and need modest effort to remove. If they do fall off it’s because they were “scraped” off rather than while in use. Hope helpful. I bought a grip as well, I’ll report on that after a full weeks of use.

It's easy to lose since they aren't the most tight fitting.
For writing it seems okay but for artists I'm not entirely convinced it's a good purchase.
The accuracy seems to be wonky, pen pressure works but it doesn't register light strokes most of the time, although it reduces the drawing on a glass effect significantly since there's more friction.
I haven't used it for that long but it's silicone so it seems durable. There's more chance to lose it than to destroy it.
Oh, and one of the pros is it also makes drawing a much quieter experience since it's without directly tapping on the glass. It's important to me since I like to draw late at night without annoying my partner :)
