I bought this to protect the body of my new MacBook Air and it was easy to fit and have not had any problems so far. I can't really comment on the durability as I have only had it a week but it looks easy to remove, not that I would unless I had too of course. I bought the green cover which looks good on the MacBook. I did see some videos where people struggled to fit it onto their laptops but mine fitted fine first time.

Do not buy this! Poor design.

Despite looking like a good compatible option…Do not buy these cases! We bought two of the same brand for a MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. The case for the MB Air does not fit properly, despite having triple-checked the model compatibility, followed the fitting instructions to the letter, they simply do not fit well or properly. The listing claims that they are compatible with our models of laptop but they simply are not up to the job and are very difficult to fit (I’m a very practical person that does not struggle with this normally).
The case easily comes off the laptop on it’s own, is forced off the rear edge when the laptop lid is in an open position - this is due to a poor design and fit. Both cases have amazingly developed splits to the plastic corners after just a few days of very light use…less than a working week. This is even though the laptops are transported in other robust, padded carry-cases too.
I feel very cheated!
Would actually like a refund on both cases I bought.

If you are buying this for the 2020 macbook air, don't. It's slightly thicker than the 2019 model at the base so the bottom half of the case doesnt fit properly. Even if I could get it on it would be way too tight and likely break.

It was rubbish, didn't fit at all. I've seen other people with similar problems about the screen not bending back more than 90°, which was the exact same for me. They tried to say that the panels have been put on the wrong way round but I've tried every way round and it was just slightly off dimensions wise anyway so the bottom panel was just talking off.. top panel worked fine but alas I needed both. Only reason I gave a 5 star for "easy to remove" was because it never went on in the first place!

Cover CRACKED because doesn’t fit properly - Macbook air 13inch - PICTURES ATTACHED !

0 starts for this. The bottom cover only clicks in one side. You can see by the pictures attached here. The top fits ok but because there is not much space between the bottom cover and the top both sides are now cracked! My 4 year old was playing with a piece of plastic that cracked from this and I didn't even realised. It’s not safe, 0 quality. I don’t like adding negative reviews but I could not help after seeing this. Not sure where the 4 starts come from. After this I watched some reviews on youtube and the same happened for some people. There is a review by Mr tech on youtube detailing the same issues I had . ( I have nothing to do with that channel just thought was the most honest review so far! ) I hope this helps. Just spend a bit more and get proper stuff honestly, now I wasted 13 pounds here, could have invested a bit more and have a proper cover.

Half of the product fits..?

The colour is exactly as pictured (Lavender Grey) and I like the smooth matte finish even if the sheerness is non-existent. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Now here’s the disappointing part: only the bottom cover fits my MacBook Air (2019) [A1932], the cover for the screen only clips onto half of my laptop and won’t fasten. My laptop is slightly dented on one side, but that is not the issue as a piece of plastic on the inside of the cover physically blocks the space to insert the side of my laptop in. This is a *major* design flaw. I have tried many times to push the cover on, but it won’t budge.

Quite a sad outcome, as I actually did like the way the design looked :(

Just impossible to fit. So so tight. Nice quality but crazy to fit the base MacBook. Air 2020 but no amount of force gets it to fit and when partially almost nearly there the screen can’t open fully risking damage

Unboxed the item from the usual Amazon packaging to find that the bottom and top case was wrapped in plastic packaging individually to protect from scratches, which I thought was good!

Then came to fitting the case(s) onto my new Apple MacBook Air 2020 i3 - incredibly easy. I did find it was very stiff putting on the lid case, worrying that I would scratch it in the process - however, I did not.

Love the finish of it and I am assured that my new MacBook won't be scratched!
Would definitely recommend this item, and I can confirm it fits the A2179!

Disappointing for the quality received

I had high hopes for this product after I got a recommendation from a friend and at first, it was exactly what I wanted.

However when I went to put the cover on, it was incredibly difficult as it wouldn’t stay on. Eventually after trying for long it went on but a day or two later, I discovered that the cover cracked at the bottom corner despite me not even using the laptop.

Quite disappointed because its not worth the money for the quality I received.

Purchased one in navy blue colour, stylish and professional looking, perfect fit and easy to use just click on and it stays in place my Mac is well protected. At first it was very easy to leave finger prints on then I realised that's because it's brand new case, after a short while the surface builds up the resilience to dust and dirt even drop of water. Bought it about 12 months ago and it's still in good condition so thought I'd leave a feedback.
