This product does not fit my Macbook air 2020 A2179. It supposed to be for the models before 2020. I bought one Macbook case before which actually stated for model number A1932 only but because I did not read carefully so that was my bad. But for this one, as I know this fitting issue already, it is only because the advert said it fit model number A2179 so I bought it. But the fact is it does not fit and has the completely same problem as the previous case I bought - it fits A1932 only. So the advert misled my purchase completely. The instruction actually stated only A1932 but I don't understand why the seller made up the A2179 in their advert. I enclosed the product instruction comes with the case, as well as other photos which show the problem of the fitting - there is always one side of the base cannot be hooked in, also it restricts the opening angle of the Mackbook. It is very disappointing and in fact very annoying when I am aware of the potential issue, and tried to avoid it, but still misled by the advert.

This fits my new MacAir 13'. 2019 perfectly and both the screen cover and keyboard cover fit very well. Sadly the top cover cracked at one corner with in days so I bought another and I am interested to know how long that lasts. For the money it's potentially a great product. But four months later the second cover cracked for no good reason, then it cracked some more and as this was during the Covid crisis my laptop never left the house and got no rough treatment at all. I have been too busy self-isolating to do anything about it now ; I may have to replace it with another brand now.

This is a very nice looking protective cover but 2020 MacBooks have a double USB-C port to take an adapter for standard usb, so card etc. Problem with the cover is that it prevents the the adapter from being fully pushed in. I am not happy to keep removing the cover

I can’t comment on durability yet as I’ve only used it for a few days since I received it, but it it’s clear and made of hard plastic. The only thing so far would be it’s a bit fidgety to out on. Make sure case and your MacBook are completely clean before putting on as not easy to very remove with fear of breaking the case or scratching the MacBook.

The product seems very nice, and is not heavy. I think it will serve as good protection from scratches and so forth. However, the front cover of the case already had 2 prominent scratches on it already and as a result ive had to return the product.

Overall good quality but very poor design. The bottom is badly made causing restriction on opening the screen to only 90-95 degree where it can normally go 25 degree further back. After cut out and modification as on picture working well, but nobody shall do that, this shall be like that hence only 3 stars.

Unboxed the item from the usual Amazon packaging to find that the bottom and top case was wrapped in plastic packaging individually to protect from scratches, which I thought was good!

Then came to fitting the case(s) onto my new Apple MacBook Air 2020 i3 - incredibly easy. I did find it was very stiff putting on the lid case, worrying that I would scratch it in the process - however, I did not.

Love the finish of it and I am assured that my new MacBook won't be scratched!
Would definitely recommend this item, and I can confirm it fits the A2179!

Love the product adds no extra weight onto my MacBook and gives protection from scratches etc, a small piece broke on one section and after conversing with the seller I was sent a full set free of charge. Definitely good value for money and worth buying for protecting expensive laptops

Pathetic item, looks like it's been used and someone has played football with it. Has 4 cracks on all corners, bottom rubber feet are missing in various places. I can't believe an item of this condition is being sent to me and Amazon allows such quality to come through. I would avoid and go for something better quality and worth the money.

Initially I was worried because I have acrylic nails so open things in general is a struggle and people have said it was difficult to open in the reviews. But that’s not true in fact it’s easier with the case to open and the fact the case protects it from any scratches caused by my nails. But this laptop is an investment so the case I would buy numerous times for it to keep its value and avoid damage. Highly recommend. Was protected in clear plastic wrap to prevent damage in shipping also.

My model is the 2020 MacBook book air 13 inch fits perfectly and easy to remove.
