Ergonomisch design, werkt goed, korte kabel.

Ik heb deze muis eigenlijk vooral gekocht om de kleur. De PC versies zijn naar mijn mening minder leuk om te zien.
De muis voelt lekker snel en precies in beweging en scrolt lekker (grote fan van de vrij draaiende scroll functie).
De enige 2 minpunten die ik tot nu toe heb gevonden zijn de vrij korte oplaadkabel en de hoogte van de rechter muisknop. Ik denk althans dat het daar aan ligt, dat ik te gemakkelijk per ongeluk de rechter knop in druk.
Ander puntje van aandacht:
Ik had al een unifying USB dongle van mijn toetsenbord, maar als je deze niet hebt, moet je of bluetooth hebben, of zo'n losse dongle aanschaffen, want deze komt er niet bij in de doos.

Great mouse, horrible scroll wheel

There's a lot to like about this mouse but scrolling -which I do a lot- is not one of them. The website claims the following:

"We reinvented the wheel. All-new MagSpeed™ Electromagnetic scrolling is precise enough to stop on a pixel and quick enough to scroll 1,000 lines in a second. Oh, and it’s nearly silent.

The wheel’s machined steel gives it a premium tactility and enough weight to offer a dynamic inertia you feel – but don’t hear."

However, almost every time I scroll (ratchet mode) and let go of the wheel, I hear this spring noise like it has trouble snapping back to standstill. I've made a video where you can hear and see the problem.

I have chatted with support (who asked the internal team about it) and he said it's normal behavior! It's incomprehensible to me that a product that is marketed as "silent" is actually the loudest mouse I've ever had.

Connection is atrocious

I originally tried out the MX Master when it first came out. Really well-reviewed all round so it was definitely worth a go. However, when I tried using it as a daily driver it kept giving me a really unstable connection. As I use it for work seeing the cursor stop momentarily when I'm moving it around the screen is really annoying.

Several years and two revisions later I decided to give the MX Master 3 a go. Newer laptop too. Same issue. I initially tried it via Bluetooth and moving the cursor around gave a really choppy connection. I went through their troubleshooting guide and did everything except reset my bluetooth connection. I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and maybe one other device being connected to the same machine was too much interference with a mouse to give a smooth experience so I switched to its dongle. Same issue but it was probably about 80cm away from the mouse so I moved the receiver much closer (about 20cm away). Same again.
The other complaint that I have is that if the Bluetooth connection did work well, where do you put the receiver? Other companies, even low-priced Bluetooth mice have a port in the bottom to store the dongle. Not a premium Logitech device though?!

After I returned the mouse I bought a Razer ProClick, which works flawlessly with Bluetooth and has a place on the mouse to store the receiver if it's not in use.

Logitech used to practically be the de facto standard for PC peripherals. This has been a terrible experience though, twice over, so I'll be loathed to try their wireless peripherals in future.

When you pay £90 just for a mouse you expect quality product. I have no issues with ergonomics design (however it could still be better) or built quality, but with one of the fundamental functions - scrolling. How this mouse can be rated 4.6 out of 5 is beyond my mind. The scrolling is absolutely awful. Playing with settings don't change much, you always end up with some compromise this way or other. It is buggy, scrolls inconsistently and at random speeds, sometimes don't actually move at all upon first scroll and you never know how far it will go when it finally move.
Seriously, this is not what you expect from £90 mouse, my 4 years old £20 mouse feels far better. Search for MX Master 3 scrolling issues and read before buy.

Great design and a brilliant scroll wheel but useless due to a known and long-standing bug

Really strong design, features and ergonomics let down by a long-standing bug that Logitech can’t be bothered to fix. The mouse is comfortable, worked well on a high-gloss desk surface, has a nice positive click on the main buttons and has a superb scroll wheel. What a shame that when using a web browser in MacOS (Safari and Chrome) every click of the back button jumps you back two pages instead of just one. If you’re affected (not everyone is) it can’t be fixed in Logitech’s ‘Options’ app or in MacOS system settings or even with 3rd party solutions like Steermouse. This has been a known issue for years with Logitech’s wireless mice (doesn’t seem to affect wired models) and searching online didn’t show that any progress has been made. To be clear, not all users have this issue. I know other Mac users with this and previous models who have no problem. One of them is an experienced Mac repair specialist and their advice amounted to ‘Yep, don’t know why but if the obvious fixes don’t solve it then you probably never will’. Logitech customer support were, as usual, utterly useless. What a shame!

Logitech MX Master 3 - The worst Experience Ever

I had high expectations for this mouse having seen so many glowing online video reviews but nothing could have prepared me for the absolute nightmare that would ensue after trying to get this damn thing working correctly!

The Logitech MX Master 3 mouse doesn't come with any software, instead after inserting the unifying USB dongle and turning the mouse on the user has to first pair the device with the dongle before being thrown into a web browser to watch a demo of the features and set up the Logi Options software. I think Logitech have dropped the ball on this one, it's a half baked control panel which doesn't work straight out of the box, instead it seems to be riddled with bugs. Check the Logitech forums, they're awash with complaints about this device and the associated software. Quite frankly whoever made this software is an idiot! It clearly hasn't been tested before release.

At one point after navigating the various options for several minutes I noticed that I now had several instances of the same Logi Options window running at the same time.

Much to my horror, the Logi Options Software did not support Photoshop on my PC which is the main reason why I bought this mouse. I could see it in the list of supported programs within the Logi Options but I couldn't select it or assign any custom mouse commands, it was as though Photoshop wasn't even installed.

Given the extremely poor setup experience you could say that this mouse is completely unfit for purpose! It's certainly bitterly disappointing having spent the best part of £80 for something which performs no better than a budget mouse.

I did notice during my attempts to get the software functioning correctly that the Logi Options software was alerting me to a new piece of 'Beta' software called rather bizarrely 'Logi Options +', the '+' symbol by all accounts means new features. Having read so many Logitech forum posts criticising the lack of support from Logitech and the inability to get some or all of the custom buttons working with the Logitech MX Master 3 whilst using Photoshop I decided to download the beta software and see if it made any improvements.

Thankfully yes, kind of. It did at least allow the mouse to recognise that Photoshop was installed and even allowed me to select it to assign the custom button commands for use within Photoshop. Sadly however that's where my excitement ended. Having spent over 6 hours now trying to make the buttons work correctly in Photoshop I've all but given up. Left & Right Horizontal Scrolling doesn't work! Scroll Wheel Zoom In & Zoom out doesn't work nor do any other commands.

I've tried reinstalling Photoshop, I've tried reinstalling the Logi Options + software and all to no avail. Quite frankly this has to be the worst Logitech product I've ever experienced and that's putting it politely. Whether I will keep this device remains to be seen, if I can get working I'll be a happy camper but if I can't get it working as described I'll be looking for a refund.

Hallo, normal nutze ich oft und gerne Logitech Tastaturen und deren Mäuse. Logitech war eigentlich immer meine erste Wahl wenn es um Tastaturen und Mäuse geht, so nutze ich z.B. an meinem Windows Rechner die G910 Tastatur und die G900 Maus, mit beidem bin ich eigentlich sehr zu frieden, außer mit dem Lautstärken Rädchen an der Tastatur, da kann ich drehen wie ich möchte, das Ding tut was es will, das nervt. .....aber ich schweife ab, zurück du der MX Master 3 und warum ich das Ding so schlecht bewerte.

Die MX Master 3 habe ich mir für mein neues Macbook Pro gekauft, da diese super mit MacOS funktionieren soll. Ich habe aber ein riesen Problem wenn man sich zwangsregistrieren muss und bei der Logitech MX Master 3 muss man sich zwangsregistrieren wenn man die Maus im vollen Umfang nutzen möchte. Ich wollte mir ja auch noch die passende Logitech MX Keys Tastatur bestellen, aber nach diesem Theater mit der Zwangsregistrierung lass ich das lieber und verzichte dankend.

Die Maus fühlt sich gut an, die Oberfläche ist leicht gummiert und diese dann wieder leicht aufgeraut was ein weiches Gefühl ergibt, sie liegt auch gut in der Hand, die Verarbeitung ist ebenfalls gut. Toll ist auch das man die Maus quasi an 3 Geräten gleichzeitig nutzen kann, ein Umschalter auf der Unterseite ermöglicht das. Um nun alle Funktionen und Einstellungen nutzen zu können, muss man sich auf der Logitech Seite die Options App/Software herunterladen, das geht ja noch, nach dem installieren wird man bei jedem Versuch die Software zu nutzen, aufgefordert sich zu registrieren und ein Logitech Cloud Konto einzurichten ohne dann kann man die Software und dem entsprechend eben die Maus nicht nutzen bzw. im vollen Umfang nutzen. Das ist eine absolute Frechheit und es wird auch nirgendwo darauf hingewiesen. Es sollte doch wohl jedem selbst überlassen werden ob er sich bei Logitech ein Nutzerkonto anlegen möchte oder nicht. Das man aber gezwungen wird wenn man diese Maus voll nutzen möchte geht gar nicht.

Ich habe lange überlegt wie ich das nun bewerten soll, einerseits hat die MX Master 3 an sich ganz sicher keine 1 Stern Bewertung verdient, andererseits kann man sie nicht richtig nutzen wenn man sich nicht bei Logitech registriert. Letztendlich habe ich mich dann doch für die schlecht Bewertung entschieden, da ich mich nicht zwangsregistrieren möchte und somit diese Maus für mich unbrauchbar ist. Ich werde sie also wieder zurück schicken und kann nur jedem empfehlen sich wirklich gründlich überlegen ob er sich diesen Zwang hingeben möchte oder dann doch lieber zu einem anderen Produkt von einem Mitbewerber greift, die machen ja bekanntlich auch keine schlechten Produkte.

Es sollten wirklich noch mehr schlechte Bewertungen geschrieben werden, vielleicht wacht ja dann Logitech auf .....aber ich glaube den geht das ohnehin am A..... vorbei was der Kunde denkt, allerdings dieser Kunde hier wird künftig bei den Mitbewerbern nach passenden Gerätschaften suchen. Vielleicht wird es nun doch das Apple Trackpad und beleuchtet Funktastaturen gibt es ja ohne hin wie Sand am Meer, auch für MacOS.

So das soll es gewesen sein, ich ärgere mich jetzt noch ein bisschen und dann schaue ich auf Amazon nach alternativen. Tschüß, gehabt Euch wohl :)

Terrible software - Battery will need replacing within 15 to 16 months

The software is dreadful and very buggy. I ended up using the MS drivers and uninstalling the logitech one altogether.

The mouse feels ok but the wheel is very annoying as sometimes it spins forever and moving from one window to another while it is still spinning produced poor outcomes. Also, every week or so, the mouse becomes unresponsive altogether and the only solution is to restart the PC. This happens regardless of whether using logitech or MS drivers!

For the price tag, I expected significantly better than this but that is business these days...

Update now that I have used this for over a year
If you are happy to replace the mouse every 15 to 16 months, and can put up with the buggy drivers, this is the mouse for you!
After 15 to 16 months, the battery is shot and either you use it wired or you must replace the mouse altogether. It is not designed to be serviced.

The best mouse that I ever had, but..

The software is awful, I lost my time for re-configure buttons and reinstalling, rebooting ..
It does not work again! Idiotic software. And there is no easy fix if there is any !

I can't believe this mouse cost that much, better to switch to 15 quid mouse

It looks little bit ugly on a picture, but definitely is the best mouse that ever had.

As down side is that it does not have the special software for Ubuntu.
I am working on Windows, Mac and Ubuntu and I am using the dongle for the Ubuntu machine, but there is no option for Logitech Flow or Logi Option for Ubuntu, also for ubuntu is very limited of settings.

Other down side which is more personal is that the button for switching between machines is underneath and there is no setting to use some of the top buttons for that.

Defective scroll wheel, item returned

Infuriating issue with the scroll wheel which does not register scrolling properly, resulting in pages etc jumping up and down as you try scroll. There are videos of the issue if you search for "Mx master 3 scroll issue" but otherwise you'd likely not find it.

Also, the ergonomic design is a massive downgrade from the original Mx master. The bottom edge is a hard angle that digs into my palm. Overall a very poor choice for this price point.

Ok. Ich liebe mein Logitech Keyboard. Das K380 ist solide und günstig. Daher wollte ich auch eine "coole" Maus als alternative zur Apple Magic Maus, da ich viel mit Grafikprogrammen und Code etc. arbeite. Eine Pro-Maus klingt da natürlich toll. Von dem was die Maus kann ist es das auch.....

Zumindest am MacBook Pro M1 und am MacMini 2018 überhaupt nicht nutzbar. Ich weiß nicht woher die guten Reviews kommen, entweder hatten die Nutzer noch nie eine Apple Maus zum vergleich und das absolut miese Tracking und die sinnfreie Funktion des Scrollrad (vollkommen unnatürlich) fällt daher nicht auf oder ich habe einen ganz anderen Anspruch. Ich glaube nicht das mein Gerät defekt ist.

Diese Maus hat alle paar Sekunde massive Aussetzer beim normalen Scrollen und auch beim Tracking. Nicht so das es total spricht, aber so das es im Vergleich mit der Apple Maus extrem auffällt. Ich dachte erst es ist nur Gewöhnung aber dann stellte ich feste das es nicht möglich ist etwas freizustellen oder nur Präzise einen kleineren Button zu klicken. Ständig kleiner Sprünge und die Maus schießt über das Ziel hinaus. Ich hab das in Reddit immer wieder gelesen, wollte es aber nicht glauben. Es ist aber in der Tat so, das diese Maus, egal auf welcher Oberfläche einfach ständig Aussetzer oder sowas hat. Das macht Sie beim normalen nutzen nervig und beim professionellen Arbeiten völlig nutzlos. Ich Schreibe selten Reviews, hier muss ich aber sagen bin ich geschockt wie Logitech so etwas auch noch als MX Master für Mac verkaufen kann. Geht sofort zurück. Sehr Schade, denn der Funktionsumfang wäre ein Traum.

Don’t waste your money

I really wanted to love this as I have the smaller Logi MX Anywhere 2 that is brilliant, however this mouse is just awful. The precision is woeful for detailed work in CAD and Photoshop, and given the price of this mouse, I want something that enhances my work flow, not something that hampers it. I was truly shocked at how bad this was that I thought I may have had a faulty product, but I tried another and it was just the same. I think others have mentioned this too, so you have been warned.
