Eindelijk een fatsoenlijke muis

Apple maakt mooie MacBooks en Desktops, maar wat ze niet kunnen maken zijn muizen. Slechte ergonomie, verbinding problemen; ik heb er meerdere versleten en altijd was er wel wat aan de hand.

De Logitech muis voldoet zeer goed. Precieze tracking, goede verbinding zolderhapering en horizontaal scrollen met de duim! Top, had ik veel eerder moeten doen.

Goede muis maar geen grip

Op zich een goede muis maar weinig grip om hem 'op te kunnen tillen' als je werkplek beperkt is. MX Performance van jaren geleden had dit wel door uitlopende bovenkant. Dit is nu een stuk minder. De MX 3 is helemaal kaarsrecht en daar is de grip nihil. Heb er nu maar een plakbandje geplakt om toch grip te krijgen. Jammer dat er geen antislip laag op zit. De muis ziet er hetzelfde uit als de 2S, misschien dat de software wat anders is maar zie geen verschil (behalve de kleur).

Because of my big hands, this is my favorit mouse. it fits in my hand, easy to use, mouse on screen is very fine and exact to follow en to move. Sometimes needed to charge it with an old nokia adapter and cable.

One of the best mice out there (Mac user perspective)

I've waited a month before writing my review in order to get a proper use of the mouse. This is based on a Mac-user perspective.
For years I swore in the Magic Mouse and after that the Magic Trackpad 2 which were always my primary external peripherals. I hesitated for long time to buy the MX Master 2S, but everyone on youtube was recommending it and I decided to give it a try. I am so happy I did.

PROS
- great customisation - almost every button can be set to run different keyboard commands based on app used. There's a very nice implementation of the Mac OS commands (by using only the button where the thumb rests) such as Mission Control, Show Desktop, App Expose, switch fullscreen apps/desktops (see attached screenshot)
- very good battery life (I get several weeks of usage)
- very comfortable (needs some getting used to after the Magic Mouse, but not so much)
- nice sliding on my desk without need for mousepad (the Magic Mouse 2 is much worse in this regard)
- ability to quickly switch between 3 devices by pressing the small button under the mouse
- flow software to go from the screen of one computer to another is great addition (although it lags a bit for few seconds, so it's not like you have external monitor plugged in, but works the same - you go to the edge of one screen and you are on to the next one)

CONS (a little nitpicking)
- the scroll is not as smooth as the Magic Mouse' capacitive surface, but still one of the best on a regular mouse with a wheel
- no battery percentage in the Logi app, not even in the Mac bluetooth menu icon
- needs USB-C, I'm tired of this Micro-USB
- can't set the side scroll wheel to run keystroke commands
- can't export settings from the Logi app and import them on another computer
- gets dirty easier than the Magic Mouse and it's harder to clean

I would usually rate this at 4.5 stars, but if the cons are resolved (or at least half of them), it would be a true 5-star-product.

Als erstes vorneweg, für das Geld bekommt man sicherlich auch 3 bis 4 gute, normale, Nager - ABER.....

Die Maus liegt sehr gut in der Hand (Rechtshänder) und ich finde sie vor allem für meine, doch großen, Hände sehr angenehm.
Sie gleitet gut, auch auf nicht so idealen Untergründen, z.B. direkt auf der Schreibunterlage.
Was mich aber wirklich zum schreiben der Rezension gebracht hat, ist die unschlagbare Präzision. Ich habe schon einige Mäuse durchprobiert (u.a. MX1000, MX620, Lenovo, ...)
und habe dennoch immer wieder auf meine alte Logitech G5 (Gamer-Kabelmaus) zurückgreifen müssen, da mich die bei den anderen Mäusen fehlende Präzision störte.
Dazu kommen dann noch die zusätzlichen Tasten (4 bzw. 5 Stck):
Sie sind, bis auf eine, gut erreichbar angeordnet und vor allem, fast vollständig, frei Belegbar.
Das dann in der Kombination mit dem elektronisch umschaltbaren Scrollrad ist einfach unglaublich.
Beispiel: Da ich die mittlere Maustaste nicht brauche, habe ich darauf den (Scroll-)Modusschalter gelegt. Ein Druck auf's Rad
und ich kann zwischen freiem und gerastetem Bildlauf umschalten. Den eigentlichen Modusschalter kann ich jetzt für andere
Zwecke nutzen.

Was ich jetzt nicht unbedingt brauche ist das Scroll-Rad am Daumen.... aber ich denke, wenn man es einmal gewohnt ist, möchte man es sicher nicht mehr missen.

Die Verarbeitung sieht edel und wertig aus, sollte man zu diesem Preis aber auch erwarten können/dürfen.

Ich hoffe die Qualitat ist entsprechend dem, was ich von den höherpreisigen Logitech Produkten gewohnt bin. (MX Air hält bei mir schon über 8 Jahre im fast täglichen Betrieb)

Fazit:
- Für Nutzer die nur ab und zu am PC sitzen ist diese Maus wie die sprichwörtliche "Kanone zum Spatzen schiessen".
- Für Nutzer die eine Prestige-Maus am Edel-Arbeitsplatz wollen, ist sie zwar OK aber es gibt sicherlich
prozigere Designer-Nager.
- Für Gamer gibt es bessere und vor allem spezialisierte Supernager.
- Aber Nutzer die ihre Arbeit am PC möglichst effizient und frustfrei erledigen wollen, treffen mit dieser Maus sicher eine sehr gute, produktive und zufriedenstellende Wahl.

- Wen die kürzeren Ladeabstände, das Fehlen der Flow-Funktion und das angeblich kaum
spürbare Präzisionsdefizit nicht stören, kann getrost zum GÜNSTIGEREN und ansonsten wohl baugleichen Vorgängermodell "MX MASTER" greifen. Denn selbst der Vorgänger zählt immernoch zur absoluten Oberklasse
der Büronager.

PS: Wer Rechtschreib- und Grammatikfehler findet, darf sie gerne behalten....

Sur le papier la souris est parfaite et les revues sur internet sont dithyrambiques ... logitech étant une bonne marque, j'ai acheté les yeux fermés.
Après une journée !
- forme trop bombée qui fait piller le poignet
- bouton "roulette de côté" super bizarre avec un feeling horrible et sans crantage
- boutons "avant / arrière" si petits que l'on ne sait pas sur lequel on clic ... sans parler qu'il est impossible de les distinguer à l'aveugle
- bouton secret tellement dur qu'il est inutilisable
- la roulette fait un bruit hallucinant
- pas de rangement pour le dongle
- super lourde

Très mauvaise souris.

I've had a Logitech MX Performance for years and it's been thrown carelessly into my laptop bag and travelled the world without a care. Used and abused for hours on end, dropped off of desks (sitting & standing), it's like a trusty old Volvo, just keeps on going! Before that I had the wired MX-518!

In fact, there's never been anything wrong with my Logitech mice, I've always just decided to upgrade to the next in line.

For a short period, before buying the MX Master 2S, I had the MX Master. So I was confident it was going to be a good mouse from the off. The 2S has a much longer battery life and 4000dpi vs 1600dpi. Also has some software perks which allows you to use multiple computers as linked desktops. Pretty cool as I do a fair amount of server work and video editing.

I do miss the bronze colour though!

I can't recommend this mouse enough, it's one of the best devices on the market, feels great to hold for hours on end and doesn't make your hand ache or sweat. It's beautifully designed (for right handed people!) and feels like a quality product.

It works with just about anything with bluetooth or using the provided USB dongle.

The wheels feel great, the buttons provide good feedback and it glides smoothly! Works on just about any surface too.

You won't regret it.

tl;dr - don't bother upgrading

In comparison to Logitech Performance MX, the MX Master 2S:
- Offers a less ergonomic hand position, feels smaller than Performance MX, the heel of my hand has little support
- Back / Forward buttons are positioned even worse, are tiny, and should be where the wheel is located (however, I am also using back as forward and zoom as backward on Performance MX but that works very well for me)
- MX Master's scroll wheel concept is better in theory, but practically less comfortable, clunky, loud and less precise
- I used low acceleration and a little above medium speed (SetPoint) with Performance MX (precision for slow movements, multi-monitor compatible for flicks); MX Master 2S is either (too) slow or (too) fast, I could not figure out a good balanced setting that works for everything, like it does very well for Performance MX.
- Clicks are too hard and too loud, thumb button position is also a little off and too heavy. And I use mechanical keyboard MX Browns all day.
- The new software looks "nice" but is essentially a pointless and functional downgrade from the old SetPoint

As much as I wanted to replace my two Performance MXs after using this model since it came out, use things like bluetooth, switching devices, hoping for even more precision, the MX Master 2S is a no-go for me. I can only speculate that many positive reviews are from less-frequent or less-experienced mouse users and they just don't know what their missing out on. Logitech - try again with MX Master 3S - good luck.

Prima di lasciare questa recensione ho voluto provare a fondo il mouse per diverse settimane.
Premetto che solitamente parto molto prevenuto su dispositivi bluetooth perché in passato ho avuto pessime esperienze anche con prodotti di marca e di un certo costo.

Inizialmente avevo provato uno dei tanti mouse verticali, ma a parte che di per se non risolve totalmente i problemi legati a dolori articolari, era carente di funzioni e per via della conformazione risultava leggermente impreciso. Quando ho visto questo logitech non ho potuto fare a meno di provarlo, sia per il suo design leggermente inclinato, che per le sue peculiarità.
Dico fin da subito che con una madio media si adatta bene tanto ad impugnature claw quanto palm.

L'ho usato sia nella normale navigazione online, sia nei giochi pur sapendo che non è un mouse pensato per quello perché tanto non gioco a livello professionale/competitivo. Personalmente non ho riscontrato lag nemmeno su overwatch (dove invece ero convinto avrebbe potuto dare qualche problema). Preciso però che il mio ricevitore è in una porta del monitor, lontano dalla mia scheda di rete e ovviamente vicino al mouse questo potrebbe aver ridotto le possibili interferenze.
Nella navigazione posso dire di non poter più fare a meno dello scorrimento libero per doumenti o pagine web.
E analogamente, soprattutto sul monitor verticale lo scroll laterale è una funzione veramente comoda. Su questa caratteristca puntializzo che inizialmente non ero convinto perché mi era sembrata estremamente impreciso il movimento, poi ho realizzato che dovevo solo trovare la regolazione adeguata della sua sensbilità.
Ho notato leggendo varie recensioni e pareri, che molti lamentavano la forma/posizione dei tasti foward/backward,io perosnalmente l'ho trovata molto intuitiva, non ho bisogno di guardare i tastini per premerli; mentre trovo un po' forzato il movimento del pollice per attivare il pulsante posto sul sostegno per lo stesso, però mi rendo conto che entrambe le cose sono estremamente soggettive e la stessa dimensione della mano può fare la differenza.

La batteria l'ho caricata una volta in un mese (perché non arriva completamente carico) e non l'ho ancora consumata nonostante spesso lo dimentichi in standby o comunque lo usi per molte ore al giorno, ma tanto su questa so già che influirà per forza di cose il tempo. Decisamente comunque lo trovo un enomre passo avanti rispetto a tutti quei mouse che bisogna aprire per inserire le pile o peggio dotati di basetta.
Apprezzabile il fatto che possa essere usato anche quando in carica, peccato non funzioni direttamente tramite usb (l'avrei trovato più sicuro in caso di problemi col ricevitore).

Inoltre sottolineo che specialmente se si è abituati a mouse leggeri (<100gr) questo potrebbe risultare goffo e pesante all'inizio visto che pesa intorno ai 150gr, però posso dire di essermi abituato al suo peso nel giro di un paio di settimane.

Non mi dilungo sulla funzionalità flow in quanto va tranquillamente ma non è quel tipo di funzionalità per me indispensabile.

Parliamo ora dei difetti che ho trovato, che alla fine riguardano più il software che il mouse:
Ad esempio è comodo poter creare dei profili specifici a seconda del programma usato, ma dovrebbe essere quanto meno possibile poterli copiare ed associare ad altri programmi, o creare "gruppi" di programmi con lo stesso tipo di scorciatoie, senza dover impostare sempre tutto manualmente.
La cosa forse più banale è che il software permetta una precisa selezione dei dpi in step da 50 dpi alla volta ma MANCHI totalmente l'indicatore numerico (quindi si può fare ma bisogna contare manualmente gli step effettuati). Una mancanza quindi veramente risolvibile con poco.
A livello personale avrei preferito un tasto extra sotto l'area dei tasti laterali, ma non nell'area di sostegno del pollice; o ancora nella parte superiore dietro la rotella di scorrimento (quindi due tasti al posto di uno) oppure vicino al tasto sx.
Però sottolineo che sarebbe una sottigliezza in più; esattamente come poteva esserlo fare degli inserti staccabili per sostenere il bignolo/anulare.

È vero che costa molto, e io ho provato di tutto, da mouse che a stento arrivavano a 10 euro a mouse che toccavano il centinaio e penso di poter affermare che spesso l'ergonomia o i sensori sono mancanze comuni nei primi.
Mi sento di consigliare questo mouse a chiunque si ritrovi per i più disparati motivi ad usare il mouse per moltpo tempo. Ovviamente a patto che sia l'impugnatura che faccia per voi.

Piccola nota positiva sul programma: nel mio caso con windows 10 non appena l'ho connesso mi ha subito suggerito di scaricare il programma dedicato per configurarlo, cosa che ha reso ancora più rapida la procedura visto che non è stato necessario dover cercare manualmente il software necessario.

concludo dicendo che la spedizione è stata perfetta, il prodotto ha una scatola adeguata per evitarne i danni accidentali ed include il cavetto con il velcro e il manuale.

Best mouse ever used, until it breaks

I love this mouse - it is without doubt the most comfortable, precise, agile mouse I have ever used. I cannot fault it, until it breaks. It is a known fault that the fast scroll wheel mechanism dislodges and renders the scroll absolutely useless. I have bought 2 of these mice and the same thing has happened to them both. I have followed the Y**Tu*e tutorial to fix it and have glued the mech to make it work again, but it keeps doing the same thing. Why can't Logitech make this mouse so that it has a standard scroll wheel that works and remains working?? They know the fault exists but still make them that way.

If this was a £20 mouse, I could understand the poor build quality, but at £70+ it is a joke. Must do better Logitech

Tiempo de entrega aceptable, ratón que a primera vista resulta muy atractivo pero con el primer uso ya detectas varias carencias importantes y que me están haciendo la posibilidad de devolverlo. Aunque estoy haciendo por acomodarme a el. Primero la rueda de scroll es muy muy poco precisa, además de ruidosa no bajan las páginas con fluidez y si pones la opción con escalados es muy muy ruidosa, cuesta acostumbrase si vienes de un Magic Mouse en cuanto a suavidad de scroll. Los botones muy ruidosos, y el botón donde se apoya el pulgar está tan duro que no funciona bien. Ojo con el bluethoo se desconecta a veces sin motivo, uso un MacBook Pro 2017 sin touch bar. Con respecto a la ergonomía es un ratón muy bueno y su diseño espectacular. La batería dura bastante pero no es un ratón de 5 estrellas ni mucho menos. No vale su precio.
