It is a solid piece of kit, and I bought it primarily to hold a tablet for viewing video.
It's longer than I imagined it, at full stretch, its about 90cm long, which is probably over double what I actually needed, but my fault there for not reading the details - I bought it mainly as an experiment.

The flexible neck part is really stiff, and takes quite a bit of effort to bend to shape ( which is a good thing ), however, because of the length, you can't really use it at a stretch horizontally with a tablet as it will droop, a phone is fine tho.
There is however, a fair degree of bounce at that length, and swiping or tapping the phone screen starts it gyrating with probably an inch or so of travel initially, which after the first 10 seconds its only a slight movement, and takes about 30 seconds to settle down to a standstill.

Bending it into more of a U shape it will hold a tablet, and if curled ( as shown in the pictures ) it holds it really steadily. Mine is currently like that and after a day it hadn't drooped at all. There is still a fair bit of bounce when using the tablet, so I wouldn't recommend this for a tablet you are intending to work on or play games on, but if you just want to hold a tablet for media viewing ( which is mainly what I wanted ) - perfect !

If the manufacturers ever read this, it would be *really* nice if if had integrated power delivery too - e.g. the neck had an internal cable to transter power from the base to the head, but that would be a nice to have.

I'm disappointed that this item only lasted for two months.

I really liked this item. I had it set up by my bed so I would have my tablet in it, bend it so that I could see it in bed, then bend it away from the bed when finished.

However, only two months after buying this item, the "neck" completely snapped off at its root with no warning whatsoever. (Please see photos). I was careful with this item and honestly even if it weren't, I don't see how it could snap that far down - to bend it in place, you must bend it further up the "neck". It's not possible to bend it from the very root.

I've tried to find a way to contact the seller regarding this - I'm outside the usual 30 day return window, however, so I suppose they need not do anything. I'm disappointed that this item only lasted for two months. That's all I can say.

Edit: Just to add that the seller did refund me.

Okay, so I came to this from a medical perspective, I was getting headaches from constantly looking down to read the iPad Pro (12.9 inch) to say I was dubious as to whether this product could hold the weight of a iPad Pro 12.9 inch is an understatement as the pro is quite heavy compared to the smaller iPads or tablets. However, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that not only was it sturdy enough to hold the iPad Pro in place but could do so in portrait or widescreen mode. As a result, I’m extremely pleased with my purchase and can only congratulate the designers on a job well done.

Die Klammer ist Ultra leicht zu lösen und woanders zu befestigen (Bett, Schreibtisch,...) so macht das Schauen von Vorlesungen, Serien usw. mehr Spaß als sich immer zur Seite zu drehen oder das IPad halten zu müssen
