Disappointing first night use and started to break stitching

I expected this Intex branded cover to fit my intex pool, which it did. However, the next day I noticed that the stretching of the cover started to pull away at seams and could see small tears beginning. Fortunately, Amazon has agreed to refund without quibble. As it is an expensive cover as branded, could they just make it a little bit bigger to allow for stretch on the pool. It would only need a little bit more and then it would be perfect. What a shame !! Photo supplied to show issue.

Good quality, hard wearing cover for bestway or Intext pools

Having asked questions on here about this cover I went a head and ordered it. The lightweight cover that I originally ordered had started to disintegrate and shed masses of tiny blue bits into the water.
The material of this cover is more rubbery and stretchy. I ordered one size bigger than the pool (12ft for a 10ft pool) and am really happy with it. I have cats and although rare, this cover protects the pool from them if they jump on it and the excess material can be tucked in under the inflatable rim. There is only one drawstring but that actually makes it easier to secure.
Edited to add. The size of the holes for drainage are larger and a bit of a pain as they let debris through, however a quick once over with a net sorts it and it’s better that having a punctured pool from cat claws

Excellent value for money, snug fitting, pool cover

We have this cover on our 15foot easy set pool. It is much better than the cover that came with the pool and fits really snuggly over the inflatable top ring (just carefully pull the cord and tie a knot when you first put it on, after that you can just slip it over the inflatable top ring).
This is our second cover, the previous one being retired after a year on the pool and an unfortunate accident with a trimmer. The newer design is better in that the (ventilation?) holes in the cover are now closer to the edge and therefore we no longer get water coming through the holes and sitting on top of the cover.
This cover keeps all the leaves and bugs out, and keeps the water and chemicals from evapourating, so the pool is ready for use whenever we fancy a swim... Really good value for money, if you have a pool this is a great addition.

Great cover that works well on all pools, metal frame ( it's easy to stretch over the frame) or quick up (inflatable top ring)..the draw string allows the cover to be tightened well ...the holes in the cover allow rain to enter to pool which is good thing as I've had covers with no holes and they invariably either split or displace the pool water when they fill up with rain ... We use a solar bubble cover (again Intex...don't buy cheap bubble covers ) under this cover and have 3 layers of bubble wrap around the pool and 10mm Eva foam pads and an old carpet under the pool to keep the heat in the pool ...this cover really helps stop dust and small debris getting into the pool massively reducing the times you have to use the bottom vac...

After up scaling pool to a 14 ft

I bought this 15 ft cover
Learned from experience if you get size recommended it barely covers,
And a real pain to fit,
This went on with 2 of us in 5 min flat,
Pulled the one drawstring tight,
I am very impressed,
Its more rubbery material than past models,
They have tended to degrade in sun and fill pool with blue bits and rip apart after 3 months
This looks fantastic

Without a doubt, the best cover for a pool iv ever had. Previously i had a 12ft steel frame pool for about 5 years, i went through so many different brand covers for that you wouldn't believe! This year i chose to get an easy up 10ft pool for convenience of putting it out and away. I wasn't expecting much ordering a cover after my bad experiences over the years but i was extremely happy. As soon as i tried it the first time it was so easy! Before it was a two or three person job but i manged quite simply to pop this on all around and tie it up by myself! There is plenty of skirt over the sides and if you tuck it under the rim before you tighten it, its a breeze. Totally recommend this cover!

I’m on my second one of these now, that’s why I’ve dropped durability by one star. It’s ok but it’s not gonna last as long as your pool. Thankfully it’s cheap enough to buy another when necessary. This time, before putting on my pool I taped some of the holes as my pool is near a tree and lots of bits get through the hole. I left a couple open to let water drain through when it rains and it seems to be doing ok. It’s only been on a couple of days. Be careful when pulling it tight as mine split down one of the seams I’ve fixed it with a bit of duct tape. You need a pool cover if you’ve got a pool, this is really cheap and does the job

Delivered early, thank you! The cover actually heats up and heats the pool up too, it stretches around the pool ring nicely and when the two tightening strings are pulled the cover hugs the pool so the wind can't blow it around.
I'm very pleased, definitely worth the price.

Simple and effective as a garden pool

This pool is better than you’d expect. I bought it in April for training in.
Simple to set up. Takes nearly 4000 litres of water though (about an hour and a half with the hose on full).
If you get one, my advice would be to put it on some insulative matting to keep it warm but also just to reduce the chance of small stones pushing on the bottom (you notice them pushing up when it’s full!).
Get a heater and pump and this thing is wonderful for the kids too. The cover is a must-have to go with it, along with chlorine tabs to keep it clear. This is not a pool you want to keep on re-filling!
Emptying takes about 8hra with the simple but effective drain hole connection to a hose which you can then run to the drain (saves soaking your garden).
Well made and well-designed.

Although all the descriptions suggest this is some kind of a stretch-fit cover, it's actually actually just a kind of polythene. It isn't a tarpaulin as it is no where near as strong. If the sun is on it is becomes extremely soft. The draw cord doesn't work. If you pull it tight it just bunches up the cover at one end. I pulled it to tighten it and it tore the cover. I just don't understand why they don't picture what they are selling. Further more, some people have reviewed and said to buy a larger one that the pool size. We have a 13ft pool so ordered a 14ft cover. However, having measured the 13ft pool the circumference at the blow up ring is a little less than 12ft. But the cover is 14ft. So it's not even the case that they size them the same. A 13ft pool is a 13ft pool at the base but it appears a 13ft cover is 13ft. Therefore my advice would be go for a 12ft cover. Not 14ft as other reviews suggest. Finally no matter what you do these covers do not stretch accoss the top of the pool. They just sit on the surface of the water. So when you remove them anything on top of it ends up in the water anyway.

So my advice. Yes it covers the pool. Is it worth £30? Certainly not. Does it fit like the item pictured? Certainly not. Is it the material pictured? Definitely not. How long will it last? Only time will tell but I think we'll be lucky if lasts one summer.
