Er is een probleem opgetreden tijdens het filteren van de recensies. Probeer het later opnieuw.
The reason for this is that with two wires if they turn the lights off they lose power themselves and stop being Smart. So some manufacturers get around this by making dimmers that never go entirely off.
Now the amount of current that flows when they are ‘off’ of tiny and shouldn’t make the bulbs glow.
But guess what? With LED bulbs it can.
So what you do Is you stick this in the ceiling rose of the light, wired in parallel with them (so literally you have one end in the connector for one wire and the other in the connector for the other wire), and it increases the resistance so that when the Smart dimmer goes ‘off’ the tiny current is not enough to make the bulbs glow.
So if you have light fixtures with multiple bulbs and don’t want to install expensive Smart bulbs in each socket (I’d need ten for the two chandeliers in my living room), and have two wires in the wall, these are life savers.
Na het ontvangen van een 2e unit die wel werkt was het toevoegen heel snel en gemakkelijk.

The units are very compact, but difficult to squeeze inside most back boxes. In most cases, I fitted them into the hollow wall adjacent to the switch. On one circuit, I fitted it into the ceiling near to the light fitting.
They are not difficult to wire up if you have experience with electrics. The terminals are small, but sufficient. These work best with permanent live and neutral supplies. If you don't have neutral to the switch, I believe you can wire the Sx terminal to the neutral terminal. In my case, I wired them up as:
- L: Permanent live
- N: Neutral
- S1: First switch (L1)
- S2: Second switch (L1)
- Q1: First switched live
- Q2: Second switched live
I combined these units with momentary switches, which allow me to turn the lights on/off by pressing and releasing.
Most importantly, these connect to Smartthings hub, which allows me to control the lights on the app, Alexa, IFTTT and most other services. Connecting these to Smartthings took a few seconds by pressing the switch three times in quick succession.
I have created automated routines to turn lights on at sunset and off at 10pm, as well as linking lights together so my Hue lightstrips also turn on at the lightswitch. All of these routines have worked flawlessly.
These aren't cheap, but they're worth the money to be able to have smart lighting throughout.

My living room has 14 5W LED downlights, and had a standard rotary dimmer. The downlights were fitted years ago by a previous owner, and are builders merchant cheap no-name ones which also flickered badly when dimmed. I wanted to add smart control, to integrate with my Hue bridge and other lights. Replacing all the fittings with fire rated GU10 cans and smart bulbs, or even just normal LED bulbs would cost way too much.
No neutral wire at the light switch, as usual for older UK fittings.
So I fitted a candeo zigbee rotary no-neutral trailing-edge dimmer switch (which looks identical to the old dimmer, so happy wife), which works fine for switch/voice/app control. However, as it still draws a little power to run the switch itself when lights are off, the only route to neutral is through the LED lights - and that means that when the switch is off, that small draw is enough to light an LED or two faintly. Better LED downlights might not have this problem, but that means replacing all the fittings and bulbs, which I'm trying to avoid.
I tried a different dimmer bypass (which didn't work) but this fibaro bypass works perfectly, I just wired in parallel at the first downlight. As a bonus it also stabilises the downlights better at low power, so I was able to set the dimmer minimum level two clicks lower while still allowing all the LEDs to turn back on fully with no flicker.
A few hundred pounds for 14 downlight cans and bulbs to have smart lights without ghosting, or pay an electrician to run a neutral to my dimmer switch via a tricky duct; or this £10 bypass in the ceiling inside the junction box. I know which I'm happier with! Obviously, enough knowledge (and a detector pen) to do basic DIY with mains electric wiring safely is required, and only install when the breaker is off; or get an electrician.

I refuse to pay Aeotec's price for what is essentially a glorified high wattage resistor with a fancy fur coat.
Anyway, this Fibaro Bypass worked a treat and sorted the flickering/dimming issues out that I had. I am only running a single 4.5W LED Downlight on the landing and I wanted the light to dim 50% on an evening and through the night so it's not so bright. With the help of this 1.4W Fibaro dimmer, my light now works as intended.
As always with Fibaro, good build quality and good reliability.

I've got one here now that simply won't reset. I don't know how many times I've pushed button 'b' to watch an indeterminate led colour to try and detect what state the switch is in... I simply cannot get it to pair with anything.
I'm moving to Zigbee. It's better supported, far cheaper and easier to pair/manage.

This bypass is very easy to install. It comes with nice long connection terminals with plenty of room to move to position it within the light fitting. Installation is easy, calibration happens automatically, and most importantly the flickering in all gone.
