I ordered last Friday, and it arrived Sunday. Always wanted an ice cream machine, that freezes, without placing the bowl, in a freezer overnight. Plus, it also makes 2 litres of ice cream. Comes with an instruction book and recipes.
So easy to follow. It states after unpacking, do not use for at least 4 hrs. So left it until next day. Found space on my kitchen island where it will stay. If anyone decides to buy one, then before you use, take inner bowl out, then either
place 25ml, of alcohol or 25ml cold water with 5g salt. Inside the permanent bowl. You need to do this, so please
note. Then last night i made 2 batches, of ice cream, VANILLA + CHOCOLATE. MMMMMMMMM Wow it is the best
ice cream. I would recommend for anyone who is looking, you will not find anything better, especially the price.
More than anything it makes 2 litres of lush ice cream. This is how i made mine. 400ml full fat milk, 400ML double
cream, 4 egg yolks and 100g caster sugar. Just make as you would a custard. Then i placed in 2 seperate jugs, and
put in fridge. When they were cold, i added Vanilla in one and in the other 3 Tbls of cocoa and 2 Tbls of cadburys drinking chocolate. Then i boiled kettle and put a Tsp of coffee in 15ml boiling water, put it in fridge to go cold.
Then added to the chocolate ice cream mix, as it brings out the flavour. Poured it in machine, switched it on and within
40 mins, it was done. Both mixes was beautiful. I have wanted a machine like this for ages, and so glad i treated
myself, especially with xmas coming. You can make it without eggs, but it will not freeze as good, apparently. It
can turn to crystals and needs to be eaten sooner. It is also easy to make one batch, wash the pan + paddle and then
put your next batch straight in, and it is that quick and easy. I love it and recommend to everyone.
