Goede lichtsterkte met vele lichtopties. Netjes verpakt met kabels erbij. Voelt zeer sterk/degelijk aan en is zeer makkelijk te monteren. Veilig voor de donkere dagen.

Achterlicht twee maanden intensief gebruikt ( 3 uur per dag) Elke dag twee keer opgeladen. Opladen duurt erg lang en lukt nog maar aanzetten lukt niet meer. Geen duurzaam product dus. De achterlichtjes van de HEMA zijn nog beter. Voorlicht werkt nog wel maar lichtbundel zoals op plaatjes is overdreven. Montage op stuurhouder is even wennen. Als je het niet goed doet (knopje indrukken) valt hij van de houder af.

I cycle down a completely unlit canal path on my commute to and from work and needed to upgrade my current light to something that will give me enough warning of all the black-clad walkers that also use the same route. I bought this one based on the very positive rating and the promise of 'Super POWERFUL Lumens' as this is exactly what I need. However, upon arrival it states on the box that this is actually only a 300 lumen light - the recommendation from cycling websites is that you need at least 700 to provide enough light to cycle at night on unlit roads, 300 lumens is only sufficient for being seen. I've not tried it out on my bike, but this was only marginally brighter than my existing light and so I've opted to return it.

I've subsequently bought a Soonfire FD38S, also from Amazon. You can see the two side by side in the photo I've provided, shining at a dark wall from about 1.5m away. The Soonfire is the one on the left, the Cycleafer is on the right. Now that's 'Super POWERFUL Lumens'....

Lampe arrière excellente, lampe frontale mauvaise

Le vélo étant mon unique moyen de transport pour le travail, il était normal que je me dirige vers un éclairage. Particulièrement quand j'ai des journées où je quitte la maison à 5h30, et d'autres où je rentre tard en soirée et qu'une partie de mes trajets se réalisent dans des petits chemins sans luminosité.

Déçu par ce produit, lampe arrière top, lampe frontale décevante.

Fixation:
Lampe frontale: on reçoit la lampe sur un support en anneau avec une vis de fixation. Cependant celui-ci est bien trop petit que pour pouvoir me permettre de resserrer la vis sur mon cadre (vélo de route). Du coup, j'enlève la vis, qui rend cette fois ci le support trop large, met du caoutchouc (reçu avec) sous l'anneau de fixation, et malgré ça, à la moindre bosse, la lampe peut se retrouvée pointée vers ma roue, ce qui dans une grosse descente non éclairée peut se montrer particulièrement dangereux.
Lampe arrière: système mieux réalisé dont on aurait du s'inspirer pour la frontal, simplement support avec bande de caoutchouc, lampe sécurisée via petit lock.

Éclairage: intensité lumineuse suffisante pour que je ne me sente pas en danger.
Lampe frontale: différent niveau: fort/moins puissant/clignotage.
Lampe arriere:rouge/blanc/clignotage.

Autonomie: je ne la juge pas, mes trajets sont courts. Je les recharge tout les jours par précaution.

J'ajoute 2 problèmatiques:

1.Le bouton est interne sur la lampe frontale, pour mon plus grand plaisir il s'est coincé, du coup je dois forcer à chaque fois que je veux allumer ma lampe. Par contre, celui de la lampe arrière est externe, encore une fois mieux foutu pas de problème.

2. J'ai perdu les caches USB des 2.

En résumé, lampe arrière excellente, lampe frontale mal réalisée, pour ce prix là, c'est bie' décevant.

Good light, but let down by design flaws

First, the pros:

1. For the price, they are plenty bright. I cycle through unlit woods to and from work, and although they don't give enough light for speeding along rough ground in the dark, they are easily good enough for an unlit commute on or off road.

2. The battery life is really very good indeed.

3. The build quality of the lights themselves is actually very good for the price.

The reasons I only gave them a 3* review are:

1. The design of the clips is rubbish. Seriously an after thought. Incredibly cheap and plasticky clips.

2. Because of that, I've lost the rear light; it should itself off the latching clip on rough ground without me noticing.

3. The switch on the front light is already really hard to press, and I suspect it will do that thing where switches stop working fairly soon. I don't know why light manufacturers put these crappy little rubber clicky impossible to press switches on; even my Knogs do it. The switches never last.

4. The USB charging cover is particularly flimsy; one has already come off twice. No idea how waterproof the lights are without this, but I can't imagine it does much anyway.

Shame, they are SO CLOSE to being amazing value for money.

I am writing this after the Scottish winter which, unfortunately, these lights did not survive, so I have reduced the rating from 5 stars (in my initial review, below) to 3. I don't cycle far to work - 15 minutes each way mainly along a cycle path, so I wouldn't say the lights were subject to adverse road conditions, but they certainly didn't survive the rain. One of the lights eventually just wouldn't switch off, and both had water ingress, which obviously isn't good. Having said that, I contacted Cycleafer as I noted the 3 year warranty and, as the lights were purchased through Amazon, I was given a no-quibble refund.

I bought these based on the reviews on here. The lights are easy to fit to the bike, easy to charge, easy to operate, and extremely bright. There is an LED that flashes to let you know when you need to charge them again, and charging is straight forward. I would definitely recommend these lights.

OK, but needs improvement

The lights are adequate for my needs, as I only cycle off-road and never in complete darkness.

Perhaps the best thing about them is that they charge quickly and hold their charge. Although I only cycle at weekends, I have not recharged them for nearly three weeks - most other rechargeable items would need recharging after that time, irrespective of use.

The main issues which need improvement are:

1. They aren't secure enough - the light straps really ought to have Allen screws on, which can be tightened properly. Everything else on my bike (including extras) uses screws, so why not these lights?

2. The front light is very easy to knock out of its slot. As above, there ought to be a screw to secure the actual light in place.

3. I own an MTB and there is barely enough room to fit the light underneath - while I accept that not all MTB riders need lights, this issue could easily be solved by making the lights a bit longer so they could "stick-out" slightly more. By this I mean the distance from the frame to the light itself - not the light width, which is completely acceptable.

The company seems to like making a fuss of how "British" they are, but they certainly aren't British-made; no prizes for guessing where they are made, and it shows: both of the above issues suggest "trying to economise to make even more money".

I personally don't need lights any better than this, but others may find that they are inadequate for their needs.

Ordered this product on 04 September 2018 for 19.54. Was then told it was out of stock and estimated date was not yet known. Received an update on 12 September saying item will be delivered between Sept 22- Oct 06. This was too long to wait as I was needing lighting on my bicycle ASAP so cancelled the order and began looking for another product. Ended up seeing this product again and ordered it on the 15th Sept for 23.97 as delivery was confirmed for the 16th September.

Not great that old orders at lower prices are put on a lower priority than newer orders at the higher price...

The lights do seem to be bright and good so I'm happy with the product aside from the above.

I have been running these lights on my commute for nearly two years now. They are reasonably bright but the front light is NOT powerful enough to handle unlit roads at night. After about the first week the rubber seal snapped off the front light so I have been keeping it waterproof with an elastic band and piece of tape ever since.

The back light is "a gift that comes with the front light" so the company takes no responsibility for its performance. after about a week, the back light started drooping down on its mounting point so I would be riding along and find it was shining at the ground. I fixed this with an elastic band round my seatpost that I used to pin the light back upright.

These were 19.99 so really you get what you pay for.

Bright but...

Ordered two sets for two bikes. Unfortunately, within two weeks of 10 days usage the rear clip which allows attachment of the rear light to the seat post has snapped. This is not what I expected and would like a replacement.

That aside, lights are sufficiently bright. I particularly like the rear light red/white flash mode which is highly visible on dark mornings / evenings. Battery life has been good thus far.

Charging is straight forward, however some brief instructions inside the box would have been nice to explain how you know when it is charged.

Good lights, however I feel the product needs some refinement.

Battery life on rear light is rubbish

I bought these in Sept 2020, mainly for my morning journey to work, which is early in the morning. it takes me about 20 mins one way, (i only use the light in the mornings) straight away i realised after the 3rd day i had to charge the rear light as it was dead, by Dec i was having to charge my rear light every 2 days, and now in the middle of January the light just doesn't work at all, it just will not charge. Very disppointed, i will definetly be contacting the company for either a replacement or refund.
On the plus side the front light is very good, battery lasts at least 5 days, and has a good brightness, which is why i give this 3 stars, but if i was giving stars for the rear light, it would get only a 1.
Very Disappointed, because the reviews on these lights where very good
