This book could have been interesting but through lack of detail it was quite boring. I am sure there is a content tick list for these alien invasion type books as I have read similar books several times before. Alien (male of course) finds their special mate, fated mate or whatever on earth after invasion, (tick)! H has a very large appendage (tick), large canines and claws(tick) but of course never hurts the h (tick). The alien has certain sexual proclivities, spanking (tick), using all the h's holes (tick) and causing pain (tick). Oh and of course human women can be mated with and produce young for the well endowed male (tick), which they do so willingly because of the large appendage (tick). Won't be reading any more of this authors books, as this type of book has been done before, but with so much more imagination by other authors.

Having read the rest of this series individuals felt I should go back and read this. Kinda glad I didn't read it first as I would never have went on to read the rest of the books.

I love agood sexy read but there was just something about the way this was written that turned ne off. I know some people enjoy pain with their sex but this came across as a bit sick, he smiled as she cried in pain nd it even says he enjoyex seeing her in pain. To cap it all the part where child abuse is discussed is badly done, tasteless and disgusting

The only reson I gave this 3 stars is because the story itself was good but the author needs to lighten up n the aggressive sex scenes

Wow lives up to the meaning Dystopian with 'everything is unpleasant or bad' I read with Grim horror, disliking both male and female lead characters until about 78% of the way through the book. Casual mentions of child sex and the degrading of women in to nothing but a place for sex. The last 22% of the book has such potential and was just rushed, it could have been so interesting and been the perfect foil for the earlier grime. I actually liked both of them by the end, I wanted to like them more.

I enjoyed this immensely, the story was good and the characters but unfortunately this book lacks editing in a major way. Lots of spelling and grammar mistakes and sometimes a minor leap in story telling that just completely took me out of the moment. That being said, a minor edit and this book is an easy 5 star for me.
