Zeer degelijke fans voor een nette prijs!

Mijn PC case had nog de originele bijgeleverde fans draaiende en die zijn ondertussen 10 jaar (!) oud! Mijn HDD's kregen het te warm (eentje had meer dan 45 °C). Het was dus dringend tijd om deze te vervangen.

Gezien ik van plan ben een nieuwe PC te kopen wou ik een tijdelijke goedkope oplossing en die heb ik bij Arctic gevonden.
Na wat reviews op te zoeken zag ik dat deze grotendeels positief waren dus bestellen maar.

Aankoop en verzending verliep vlot bij Amazon. Niet binnen de 24u geleverd maar dat hoeft voor mij niet. Toch nog binnen een nette tijdspanne ontvangen (dag of 2 geloof ik).

De fans zijn van goeie degelijke kwaliteit. Arctic is een gekend merk dus heb ik sowieso al wat meer vertrouwen in dit product.

Super handig dat deze fans met elkaar kunnen gelinkt kunnen worden dankzij de 4-pin/3-pin stekkers.
Let wel op dat je niet teveel fans op je mobo header plaatst. Zeker bij oudere PC's zou dit overbelasting kunnen veroorzaken.

Helaas zijn de fans wel iets luider (op hogere snelheid) dan wat ik verwacht had. Hoewel ze ook weer niet echt heel luid zijn of zo maar in een stille kamer, bij warm weer, hoor je ze toch wel goed blazen.
Mijn HDD's hebben weer normale temps, ook bij warm weer, dus de fans doen goed hun werk.

Ik maak gebruik van de PWM zodat deze harder gaan blazen wanneer het heter wordt en zachter (en dus stiller) wanneer er een gematigde omgevingstemperatuur is.

De prijs voor dit voordeel pack is fantastisch. 5 goeie fans voor een scherpe prijs!
Zeker een aanrader voor doorsnee PC's. Als je echt een zware rig hebt met dikke GPU kaart(en) (en dus veel warmte) zou ik verder kijken voor wat meer high performance fans.

The Price is just the best. But the humming sound is pretty annoying. I'll be replacing them as soon as I want to spend more money on fans.

Ho recentemente acquistato il dissipatore a liquido ML240R della Cooler Master, ma dopo poco tempo le ventole hanno iniziato a dare problemi a livello di rumore, e quasi portato all'esasperazione durante i rendering dei video ho voluto acquistare queste ventole, sperando di ovviare al problema senza spendere una fortuna in RGB o altro.

- Anche se non hanno i gommini anti-vibrazione il motore ha un nuovo anello al NEODIMIO, che consente di funzionare in modo molto più efficiente rispetto ai suoi predecessori, aggiungendo il nuovo design della ventola si ottengono risultati sorprendenti

🖖 In conclusione sono delle ventole eccellenti, non pensavo di ottenere risultati simili spendendo così poco.
L’unica cosa che manca a queste ventole è la sigla CO (Continuous Operation) che grazie ad un doppio cuscinetto a sfere giapponese riesce a garantire una vita più duratura, ma dato il costo leggermente superiore sono stato fermato dal prenderle.
Grazie mille per aver letto la recensione, spero di essere stato il più chiaro possibile, infine vi lascio alcune immagini rappresentative, così da farvi un’idea migliore possibile.

The Underdog of Fans

Pros:
Freaking cheap.
Black?
Freaking cheap.
They are quiet compared to some other fans

Cons:
Compared to the £25 Noctua a12x25s, the noise profile is not as warm. There are what seems to be be, bearing noises at certain rpms so rather than use pwm function, these are hard set to an rpm that does not make a noise.

Commenting on pure performance, the Artics dont do badly and I think that if I didn't already have a12s, they would get a higher rating. It's the air noise they generate though that isn't as pleasing to the ear as the Noctuas. I can live with it even though they aren't as efficient as the A12s - 3/5 for performance.

The daisy chain cables could be shorter but it is a great feature. It's a fan though. Quality of build 5/5

Price:
For one brown fan, I could buy 5 of these. And that's where these excel. Yes, the performance isn't AS good, but it's close. The PWM function is useless but I can avoid that with fixed rpm and just buying a few more fans (case permitting)
I love my browns, but justifying £75 for one radiator instead of £15 didn't sit right. At a very low rpm, these fans don't move enough air through the radiator to keep the liquid cool.

BUT comparing it to a £25 fan isn't a fair battle.
Considering that these are in the case as opposed to my NF12s and NP12s speaks for itself though.
The fact it can take on the battle in the first place makes this a 5/5 fan. True value for money.

Great value and good chaining system

These are really good value. Very basic looking but get the job done cheaply and quietly. The fact that you can chain them together and even chain another 3rd party fan on the end is brilliant. Cut down on my cabling as I no longer needed a splitter. Just attach the first one to the motherboard chassis fan plug and away you go with the rest. They dont seem to move lot of air but its enough for my case as I am using them to exhaust hot air out of the Sharkon QB One ITX case. I have noticed that alt lower RPM (under 60%) the 2 fans next to each other seem to resonate and create a droning noise. I have ordered rubber mounts to see if that stops the resonating.

Decent fans, especially for the price

These are great fans for the price. Good airflow/ pressure, very little noise, vibration or coil whine (they're stepping an Noctua' s toes). The port sharing tech is very handy (multiple fans off a single header, you can even run non-PWM fans off these and both will have their speeds controlled via PWM).

As for performance: They're powerful enough to move air through a filter at 500rpm, most people wouldn't be able to hear these at 1000-1200rpm. Very quiet & unobtrusive up to 1500-1600rpm where the only sound is the air moving (they do move a good amount of air), past that point they become noticeably louder and you can start to hear the fan's motor, still better than most.

I deducted a star for mounting as they don't come with rubber mounts.

These fans are amazing. I'm currently using two on a Hyper 212 Black Edition with a very slow fan curve for the sake of silence, and boy do they fit the bill. However, even at maximum speed (1800 RPM), they remain the quietest fans in my system and barely vibrate - Unlike the Silencio FP120 that came pre-installed on the Hyper 212. "PST" simply means that each fan's cable also has an additional fan port behind it so that you can daisy-chain up to five fans off one header on your motherboard.

Very good static pressure (and overall performance), very low noise even at full speed, almost zero vibration. Definitely recommended.

I used these in a PC I built for a friend , in my own rig I run some Corsair RGB fans that cost upward of £20 a piece , and I've gotta say if anything I'm mad at Corsair, these fans almost seem to be of a better quality, the PC is damn near silent with 5 fans in, I can easily recommended these for even middle of the road gaming builds, especially for the price

I have 4 of these fans attached to 2 radiators and they do a fantastic job of keeping my custom loop cool. They keep incredibly quiet to the point that you can almost never hear them over the sound of whatever is coming out of the PC. But for me the most phenomenal feature of them is the fact that you get all this performance at such a low price. I have already recommended these to my brother for his custom build and would be happy to recommend them to anyone who is looking to make a saving on their build whilst not making any sacrifices on build quality and noise.

Amazing value! Very quiet!

I ordered these (P12 PWM PST) to replace the fans my case came with as they were 3 pin fans and my motherboard couldn't control them with voltage. Installing them was no more difficult than any other fan but whats better than other fans is the PST splitter on each fan, this means that even though I installed 3 fans they only used one PWM fan header, simply amazing.

Once I adjusted the fan speed in my bios these fans were whisper quiet and well worth the price, they even perform well and move a decent amount of air for their respected RPM.

Nothing to dislike about these fans from arctic
Minimalistic black styling, great performance, especially for radiators as the fan shroud completely contains the fan blades with minimal gap to the edge and once screwed to the radiator there’s a good seal so not much air can escape, it will just get forced through the radiator.
Nice and quiet fans and can spin up to 1800rpm for more performance if needed.
And the price is really competitive, the 5 pack is the best value, and the PST (power sharing tech) versions are a great idea, no need for splitter cables, the fans will just daisy chain together.
